Look forwards to the KY$ Sagas XI & XVIII. Definitely check out LIVE FAST DIE WHENEVER project with Travis Barker for a bonus vid. Entire thing is screaming. Solid reaction in this one 🔥
As fans we heavily fw these albums but im ngl the albums you reacted from them so far they aint what I would recommend someone that who didnt heard suicideboys. Long term effects of suffering, sing me a lullaby, and I want to die in new orleans. These albums are the ones that probably gonna be liked by somone who doesnt listen to them. Love your reactions
This was still from 2016, still very early in their career. If anything their 2019 Live Fast Die Young album was experimental not eternal grey😂 you’ll see if you get there
All the “suicides” are the features and a play on the two groups names im pretty sure Ultimate- for denzel Water- for chris travis “waterboys” 275- for simmie Add $B on it they didnt have to think of song names that are creative just named both groups .. but thats just what i thought but wtf do i know lol
Definitely look forward to the KY$ Saga XI and and XVIII for screaming/loud Definitely check out LIVE FAST DIE WHENEVER project with Travis Barker for a bonus vid, entire project is screaming.
I mean "knowing" the boys they just dont really care. These haters would take a pic with drake if given the chance. Tbh i dont care that they linked up, i still love the boys and will continue to do so, even if they link up with diddy or sth.
It would actually be a shame if you stopped here and didn't give anything from the last 5 years a chance. A huge portion of the fan base still loves their old music around this time and for a good reason, its nostalgic, it's grimey and it's what got us all into them in the first place. But if you objectively look at the music, the production, the lyrical content, the beats everything is better in the newer music. Some will say it's more "mainstream" but that's just because it's gotten more popular and it's because they have gotten much much better as time has gone on. At least give some listens to some notable projects like I want to die in new orleans or swing me a lullaby my sweet temptation or even the lonley boy album scrim produced (literally one of my favorite albums rn) just to get a full scope of how they have evolved.
Well they did a show in Toronto so idk how people expect them to just snub the main character of the city. They probably wouldn't be able to perform there next tour if they didnt!
If you really wanna hear the punk stuff listen to Ruby’s two albums under the name DUCKBOY both released in 2023 with a new one on the way at some point this year or early next. Rubys performance on DUCKBOY is genuinely really good. I’m not trying to gas it up and I know you said you didn’t wanna take our advice like that bc u wanna go into projects with a clear mind. But when I say DUCKBOY is good, it’s really good
The reason why radical suicide sounds off is because as others mentioned it was produced by getter… who was a dubstep artist and who had a “secret” rap persona on the side called terror Reid… also he’s the suhhh dude guy lol… but he’s a very good rapper and producer but I think he kinda dropped the ball on that ep… huge props for making a whole project for the boy$ but I think the sound was more Florida type shit which wasn’t the best… it wasn’t bad but not great imo… eternal grey is legendary tho
Lots of albums they got I think you will love, you just chose the most random songs and most of them are hit or miss ig for someone who doesn’t listen to this. But I love watching your reaction vids on the boys💯❤️
Eternal grey definitely not experimental imo. It is really good once you let it sink in a few times, but their music keeps getting better from here. you're definitely not at their peak yet.
Water suicide is a collab with Chris travis, his group is waterboyz, he was in raider klan and seshhollowwaterboyz, which had him bones Xavier wulf and eddy baker in that group, he’s a big influence from the SoundCloud era of music. He’s got some really good music
This is my fav project from them but I think there best run of albums is stop staring at the shadows , long term affects of suffering and sing me a lullaby. They really went crazy and blew up from those imo
If your looking for real rock $b you need to go to 2019 with their ep with travis barker live fast die whenever it goes hard asf and they actually just dropped lyric videos for it
Scarlxrd still around? Hes one of the first trap metal artists I've ever heard actually😂 i came across his music one way or another back in 2017 I think
@@tscomplex Yeahh mane he’s been dropping like crazy and he’s only gotten better since u heard in 2017 imo. My favorite albums by him are dxxm II, deadrising, and made in hell. Def catch up with some of his shit if u wanna hear what he’s been doin
It gets way better as you go especially 2017 up you’ll definitely see how they evolved their music as you go on especially once you get too their sober stage around like 2019/2020
also i wouldn't consider eternal greybtheir best album by any means, its just their first serious album that maintains a consistent sound throughout. after this all their albums have this more professional/official quality to them (besides scrim on IWTDINO). but EG is a classic for sure.
keep the reactions bro thats fire to see ur progression through the albums. I would say that after being sober around 2020-2021, they changed a lot of things about their style, lyrics, flow. Can't wait to see ur reactions about all that new stuff
@shoreZ sounds like normal $ui to me, didn't really deviate from their formula besides LTEOS (distancing themselves from the Memphis 3-6 mafia style of sampling cuz the law suit) hence it's polarizing reception. ex: people either love or hate the song Forget It. TSCOMPLEX expecting a transition like Tyler's album Igor or sum.
in 2024 everyone is a music critique. dude's straight up literally trying to not to bop to this shit. i despise ppl like him. anthonyfantanos type shit.
This is my favorite album they’ve ever made lol. I feel a lot of the songs were simple beats where they focused heavily on there lyrics and flow Gave me a massive 90’s vibe
after eternal grey is when i think they rlly start to find their sound. Idk if your gunna fw i want to die in new orleans but i hope. After getting sober they started to sound a lot more mainstream imo.
Thank you so much for these reactions, I respect and appreciate your perspective on them and their music. Would love to see you react to some “Devilish Trio” or even some “Bones whenever you have time.
Denzel appeared around the sametime the boy$ did during the beginning of the SoundCloud era, the good part IMO. he was a part of RVIDXR KLVN (Raider Klan) which included a few names you might know like Xavier Wulf, Yung Simmie, SpaceGhostPurrp, there were a ton of people a part of it.
I think he cares more about lyrical content than vibe/flow/imagery etc. I could be wrong but he seems super unfazed by a lot of their better moments, of course it's all subjective. I think they sound so good that the lyrics don't even matter but the fact that the lyrics are good enough (imo) is the cherry on top.
@@bleysalbelo8458 very true they sound good so the lyrics don’t matter to me, it’s all subjective cause to me eclipse and gabapentin getaway are prob top 5 and bro didn’t react to much
@@bleysalbelo8458 tbh a lot of their early lyrics are "I wanna die and im on drugs" type shit. I dont really get hype over the lyrics from their early stuff anyways, its mostly just a vibe
super over dramatic (drake backlash) imo. they sold out a show in his area, he checked it out & paid respects asked for a pic. what about the large portion of the rap industry that has actually worked directly with drake? are they canceled too? not like $ui went to a drake show, it was the other way around. people so quick to hate now of days. i went to the $$$ in ft Lauderdale in 2016, as a long time fan i can look back & remember a time when pouya was MORE famous than the boy$ so it always makes me proud to see them make strides with their careers. love or hate drake its pretty cool (imo) for the most streamed rapper to recognize these 2 small time true indi artists as nola legends (where his mentor Wayne is from).
I completely agree with you, people always tryna make it more than it is like they went out and partied with him after the show or something. God forbid they take a picture with the face of the rap industry who went to THEIR show and showed love
not sure why people keep recomending live fast die whenever, do you like metal/screamo or sum? it's good but i don't think it will be your fav. sing me a lullaby, SSATS, & NWD are pretty much their best works but have good music throughout their discography.
Yea i find metal refreshing sometimes. It's my second go-to genre of I get tired of rap. I think part of what I dont like about these 2016 projects is how deliberately edgy they are. A decent amount of their work from 2015 can come off as edgy, but they were talking about some real shit yfm
Ruby's always been good with the pen no doubt. I think for me, when I'm listening to music at least, the word play is what makes music more entertaining for me. Its been taking me multiple listens to enjoy their music for the most part, but I do eventually come around
@@tscomplex I feel you, best part of music is how it’s subjective. I used to get mad when my gf played their music nonstop, then one night I caught the vibe and haven’t turned back. Weed maybe (definitely) played a part 😂
I want to die in new orleans is the turning point in the bars fs. Thats when scrim was the most fucked up and the mood shifts a bit. Imo the sober stage with the boys is genuinely peak modern rap. They sometimes have repetitive lyrics even when sober but there are just as many straight masterpieces.
tbh whether or not you continue to react to their music i appreciate what you have reacted to so far & seemingly doing so unbiasedly for the most part. kudos.
Been listening since 2018. I can totally understand your opinions on some of their 2016 and 17 songs. The timeline between not sober, trying to get sober, and being sober are almost 3 different styles. You will definitely like dirty nastier, and most likely every project after that.
@@anonymousnews9045 I actually think hell really enjoy it. He stayed multiple times that he really enjoyed their 2015 era. Iwtdino is the closest album to their 2015 sound.
you could also think of it as a testament to their creativity that they can find different ways to rap about the same thing for 10 years & be successful
My opinion on the picture is mixed like its sad that they took a pic w the dude who claims to be behind X dying, simply because X used to fw them, but at the other hand its just a fkn picture like nothing deeper I don't think there was much thought behind it. They had a show in Toronto and he happened to be there so they took a picture. I am not a fan of the it but I wont stop listening to their music coz of an Instagram post they did. The industry thing is weird coz like again its just a damn picture nothing more. think the picture would slide okay unnoticed if it wasnt for the beef between Drake and Kendrick. (just to clarify I don't like Drake at all. I never did but its an Instagram post that's it. Maybe his dumbass is depressed from getting bullied off of the rap game so he listens to the boys💀💀💀 )
People glaze ts out of eternal grey and their older music. I personally prefer the newer stuff. Sing me a lullaby my sweet temptation is easily their best album. Stop staring at the shadows is a good one too. DN$ 3, $hameless $uicide. I just think their music got so much better. Don’t quit before peak lol
Opinions are like RU-vid creators everyone's got em ha to be fair if you stop reacting to the $B I'll stop watching your channel lol no shade just being honest
