Great video, I would caution against having all the sensors so close to the monitor when programming. Move the ones not being programmed further away from the monitor when programming an individual sensor.

Appreciate the video. Easy to follow, which made my single-axle install a piece of cake. Thanks.

Going to bother you once again. I bought a new random axle trailer. Thanks to your video, I was able to set up all 4 sensors, but I can’t get the monitor to set the maximum and minimum temperatures and tire pressures. Any suggestions???

Great explanation the instructions seem a little difficult to follow and I learn easier with visual and by doing. I bought enough to do my tow vehicle too. Is this not common?
@MobileMustHave

Yes you can add sensors to use in your tow vehicle. It's actually very common! Nice to see everything all in one place!

Great video, you made it easy to understand. I read that every year you have to change out the sensor batteries . What a about the battery in the head unit. I read you only have 4 years on it, which will probably on last 3 years with my luck. So does this unit go in trash or can you keep the power cord hooked up ,so it will work. I see no way to replace battery in this unit. Any ideas? Thank you
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 2 года назад
Hey mark, the head unit has a lithium battery in it that cycles just like any quality lithium battery likely for around 5000 charge cycles. It should last for years to come and if you keep it plugged it it likely will last longer as that will limit the charge cycles. If you plug into the included charge cable and set the power switch to off it will turn the unit on/off with the key assuming your cigarette lighter plug also turns on with the ignition. This will turn the unit on and off with the key and limit the use of the lithium which would just sit mostly charged and likely last for the life of the vehicle without issue. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Andy, I have set up the cap sensors and I now have a problem that comes and goes. One sensor will work perfectly and the second May or may not work. I switched the sensors on our single axle trailer, and the sensors may or may not work for either sensor. Do you think I need the remote booster for a 20 foot trailer so that both sensors will work at the same time?
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 3 года назад
TST recommend the repeater. But if you put the display in the boat while on the trailer does it pick up both? That would be a decent test to see if it is a range issue.

Just bought this system from you all plus 4 additional sensors. The booklet doesn’t make it clear that we can have different pressures for each tire. For instance I run the front wheels on the truck at a higher pressure than the dually’s rear tires. The trailer tires are all the same but are also different from either of the truck’s settings. What’s the simple explanation to set pressures for each tire? Thanks.
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 3 года назад
You can set it so that the truck has different trigger level than the trailer. I had to do this for mine as well. But each unit (truck or trailer) should have close to the same ratings on all tires. I know for my truck its best to run the front tires about 10 pounds less then the back (per manufacture) so I have the truck alerts based on the front tires. The RV has all tires at the same setting.

@@MobileMustHave thank you. I watched a couple other videos and was able to determine that on the truck you set it by the axle. On the trailer both axles are the same. Our system is up and running and working great. Thanks.

Thanks! We have sensors inside the tire. is that what we program? Do we need the cap sensors too?
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 2 года назад
Hi Robert, you cannot programs sensors not made by TST to work with a TST screen, they use a different technology/frequency to operate at much longer ranges. Do you have TST sensors? If not unfortunately it wont work. You can install internal band sensors next to your factory sensors if you want as an option if you dont want to deal with external sensors.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your TST system. Fortunately, TST does have a 3 year warranty on their TPMS, so as long as it's under 3 years old, should still have a warranty on it according to their site:tsttruck.com/warranty#:~:text=TST%20TPMS%203%2DYEAR%20WARRANTY,a%20period%20of%20three%20years. If you purchased your TST TPMS system through us, you can also reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we can help you out!

What about the repeater?
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 2 года назад
excellent question, we are working on a repeater video that is coming very soon. In the meantime its a straight forward installation with two wires to any dc power source in your rv, usually near the house batteries in a 5th wheel or the chassis batteries in a Class A. If you have any specific installation questions for your particular setup just say the word and we will get right on it and help you out. For fastest response hop on mobilemusthave.com and fire up a chat and we'll reply asap.

For what issue do I need install a signal booster
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 4 месяца назад
Hello! Are you referring to the weBoost signal boosters we sell? If so, a signal booster helps increase your cell phone's signal if you're in an area where your service is not that strong. This will help improve calls, texts and data usage on your phone! If you have any other questions, please reach out to us via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we'll be happy to help! Thank you!

The TST tpms comes with a signal booster, I see you didn’t set that up in your video. Is it not necessary to operate?
@MobileMustHave
@MobileMustHave 4 месяца назад
@@LivingTheLifeIImagined for longer RV"s the signal booster will help improve signal. I drive a 35 ft trailer and do not use the repeater and it works fine. I also use this in a 45FT class A and the repeater is needed. The repeater is simply attached to your 12v house batteries and no additional setup is required. We cover this installation in our other video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qxTqmVrI18A.htmlsi=FsWZPuKHb90S9BWQ
