Check out the tsuba I made for my wakizashi project! It was such a slow and painstaking process, but totally worth it. I don't think I ever worked on anything so detailed before and I absolutely love how it turned out!
Now I can't wait to dive into making all the other parts of the handle.
Stay tuned for more updates on this project!

You are absolutely insane! At every step I thought "man this must take forever" and then you added another 😄 But the result is really worth it! Can't wait to see the rest of this build

I remember years ago when I wanted to make an octagonal tsuba at work. I went to our machine shop after hours, found a piece of 2 1/2" octagonal stock, and cut a 1/4" thick piece off of it. It took a while. Right after that, I saw a 10 foot piece of 2 1/2" wide, 1/4" thick piece of flat bar. It dawned on me that it would have been much easier to cut a 2 1/2" piece off of the flat bar and cut the corners off. This remined me of that, because he just did what I did.

So, you casually wake up some days ago, telling yourself that you gonna punch a billion tiny holes in a piece of steel, and then push a million tiny balls of brass in it ? And the result is freaking beautiful !!!! Man... It's awesome
