I just got my kit delivered and LOVE IT! Terrific customer service from Stephanie and Del! Fantastic communication, fast turn around after I mailed my large ruck in for mods and couldn’t be happier with the quality of work! Expert craftsmanship and I know I can count on it as an infantryman. Thank you all!
First used this kit during a selection course and was the best system I had ever used. Just received my MALICE in the mail and looking forward to putting some mileage on it!
Bought my Malice 3 in 2004 -from Owner pre passing...Its still new and rock steady solid ! Infantry here so it was well worth the cost then. As I surmise now !
The best pack on the market!!!!! For those that truly hike and want gear that will survive multiple combat deployments!!!! Look at history everything that was wrong with the ALICE system is fixed with this pack hence the MALICE!!!!
not really...no place for a load shelf and no shoulder strap guides at the top of the frame...easy to replace broken rivets...not so easy to repair a broken weld...just saying
Two questions please: 1): Is there anything on the top of the frame to hold the shoulder straps in one position or are they free to slip left and right? 2) If I choose to use the molle ii straps ( and belt pad) would these both fit to your frame? I currently use the Down East Inc frame but it doesn't hold the pack away from your lower back killing the airflow and it does creak a bit. I ditched the British PLCE Bergen after my first trip to Borneo in favour of the ALICE pack. Best thing I ever did. It is one of the last pieces of kit that I have that has survived West Africa.
At first I was like that extra sleeping bag pouch is stupid But since I’ve been using the Alice pack I hate digging through the bottom to pull out my sleeping system Thankfully I bought the version 3
I really like the system. However, a couple of recommendations for the video: It might be easier to assemble the frame, straps, and belt first, and then add the pack. In your video, it's difficult to see what you're doing when you attach the top part of the shoulder straps, and impossible to see what you're doing to attach the bottom part. Maybe do those first, then the belt, then put the pack on the frame last of all; That's how I always did my issue ALICE pack in the Army back in the day.
I have the malice pack version 3 and I absolutely love it. My super straps make the most annoying squeaking sound while rucking and maneuvering (primarily where they connect the frame at the top). Do you have any tips to alleviate that
one question please..are all colours available canvases same quality? it does look that this OD is harder , toughest then the rest ..in comparison to M-81 woodland
Where do these guys accept reviews? I've had a tactailor jacket for 12 years and it's still like new after multiple rounds abroad. It's been relegated to a smoking jacket these days but as I was fighting with the zipper on an underarmor outer shell that I've had for far less time, I had to check the label on the inner jacket. I would like to give these guys a review of quality and longevity which far surpasses 5.11 and other similar retailers.
I ma now 48 years old ..will die but I will not live to make this assembling as on this video..best BP i have my eyes on..it is my mistake to live here in Serbia...
