Review of the Modified Alice Pack Made By Tactical Tailor. I Also Compare The Malice Pack To The Original Alice Pack. Great pack, a definite improvement on the original Alice pack. That being said the Alice is still a great pack.
So tactical tailor offers a service where you can send in an existing alice or malice pack and theyll add in the radio pouch, as well as other modifications you think you may need
@@eonoutdoor3251 back in the day...when you couldn't use your own "non-issued" gear...we used to buy our own USGI Alice packs and send them in for these mods. I still have mine almost 20 years later.
Ray Charles over here lmao nice review. The MALICE frame is amazing, more strength and comfort and less weight. Better in every way than the standard ALICE frame.
Solid and straightforward review with none of that subscribe and like bs. Thanks for the video, I watched your FILBE review and it just looks bad, thanks for that one also. I used the GEN 2 ILBE USMC Bag and I love it. The sides don't wear down like they do with the FILBE it has pretty solid support that you can kinda shape to your body. You have me interested in this TT MALICE pack though. I may have to pick it up and compare it to the ILBE. I came across this video as im looking to see if there are any frame upgrades for the ILBE but im not really coming across anything.
Eon Zar prepping for 100 mile ruck right now. So I’m researching upgrades. But like some other dude mentioned tactical tailor has a ton of upgrades for the old Alice for a reasonable prices.
@@outdooroutpost6061 yeah in a tactical scenario that's definitely a problem where some people overload on unnecessary gear but for casual outdoor activities the extra pockets can be useful for organizing your stuff. Also good luck on your 100 mile ruck.
good review...i'd wager the malice is quite a bit heavier than miss alice...my large alice with frame and issued suspension comes in a bit under 7 lbs...i have a London bridge trading co eight pocket ruck very similar to the alice, but weighs nearly ten pounds and retails for 700.00 buckaroos!...ouch!...i'll keep the LBT ruck due to its bombproof construction and the cool factor, but as you say, the alice is still a great pack, both rugged and affordable and with some mods to the suspension, quite comfortable to carry...atb...woods
Yep. That's a non-starter for me. Machete, Rifle, Skis, poles, axe, tripod, et al. Nowhere to put any of them on TT ruck.I don't like the looks that frayed handle either. I did the OV Innovations upgrades on mine and it's good to go.
There is a pass through on the Malice.....at least the early ones, they might have changed.....i just bought one at a flea market for $100, it has them
I used my alice pack but a few of my buddies had the tac tailor version. Most guys had OD green however a few guys had the Coyote brown version. My platoon and I believe one of the other companies in the unit were authorized to use Tactical Tailor Rucks.
