TT-rubber review - Sunflex Splinter 

We think it´s more versatile than Waran which is more suitable for "disruptive" blocks and shots. Splinter has more spin and offensive options, but still a good disruptive effect when blocking hit head on. According to our experience the disruptive effect is higher with a thinner sponge.

​​@@spinfactoryNice. You mean thinner like 1.8mm? I m looking for waran like short pips but with better deception and harder sponge for Forehand. I liked a lot beautry but is discontinued.

@@sergioyichiong7269 Yes, in 1.8mm and 1.5mm the disruptive effect is heavier than with a thicker sponge. We don´t know Spinlord Waran very well, but the difference to Splinter might be quite big. Maybe Dr. Neubauer Killer Pro could be an option.

Diese Werte haben ja generelle keine Aussagekraft, da es keine Norm dafür gibt. Kontrolle ist sehr gut, Tempo im Kurznoppenvergleich im oberen Drittel, Dank des dynamischen Schwamms. Effettopspins gingen nicht so gut wie mit anderen Kurznoppen, aber Unterschnitt und Block mit leichtem Unterschnitt gehen super.

@@spinfactory ok danke. Ich spiele gerne eine Sidespintopspin mit den Victas V102. Hatte vorher den Zargus..der war mit zu langsam. Bei mir kommen eigentlich auch nur Soft bis Medium Beläge auf der Vorhand in Frage, also da wo ich die kurzen Noppen spiele
