If only we had trains like this in New York City. If these are the articulated trains, that'd make things better. Unfortunately for New Yorkers, it's illegal to move between cars whilst the train is in motion. And the older r48, r68, and r62 subway cars have their end doors locked. If only the mta considered using one of these trains for use in New York City.
they were, even from when you commented this, however its only testing right now and not a full batch of them, like R68 and R46, these trains are 75ft, which the MTA will hopefully never order again.
Recently the display on the front of the trains are 90% wrong, The trains either have "Finch" on both ends, or "Downsview" on both ends. But otherwise, I like it, it looks nice. On another note, last time I tried to take a photo/video of the trains, an operator in the train told me Im not allowed to do that, something about TTC property.
