Basically I won't be making anymore T1 announcements, just focusing on TR announcements, and maybe streetcar and bus announcements in the future..
It was planned to keep the Line 3 until the Scarbrough Centre Extention was done. But then the ttc had planned to close it at Nov 2023. But following the derailment during the summer, the TTC had no choice but to permanently close it. The busway will be supplied until the line 2 extention was finished. Was this enough info? 👇 👇
And if you’re wondering what the line 2 extension would look like here you go: First: The line will be extended to Lawrence east station, however the new station will be to the east of the original station so then it can connect the other stations in a straight line. Second: After stopping at Lawrence east station the line will proceed north straight to Scarborough centre station. Finally: The line will terminate at Shepard east station where it will meat up with the line 4 extension which will also terminate at Shepard east station. FUN FACT: Kennedy station will be the eastern terminal for the upcoming line 5 Eglinton crosstown LRT by metrolinx
Funny how you pasted Sheppard East on the T1 sign box on the video thumbnail when we probably know the T1s would probably be gone by the time the Line 2 Extension to Sheppard/McCowan is open to the public
