TTC Trolleybuses-Lansdowne & Mount Pleasant routes 

My husband knows this route very well, he rode this bus all the time and as a child used to give Peak Freen cookies to the bus driver with the sunglasses. Thank you TTC!!

This bring me memory. Today I'm on Lansdowne and Dupont street, and there are many condos, foods (Food Basics, Shoppers Mart Drug, etc) and others I don't used to be. There are many new people that I've never seen before. In between 1990 and 1999, not many people around me, it seemed like quite and peace because these buildings were machines, many trucks, the mall (sadly, Zellers closed in 2012). How sad today many condos make me overwhelm and headache.

First few minutes was DuPont Lansdown area where I lived...amazing how time adds value to thinga like in 92 this video wouldn't be interesting but now 30 years later we look back and go " man where do the time go ?"

@evanttc . No idea, I always thought he was going in the back way to the garage but there doesn't seem to be any gap in the houses along Wallace for a driveway. I was living in Stoney Creek, ON at the time.

The thought just came to me: There’s a slight mistake in your video description above. The thoroughfare that crosses Lansdowne Avenue is Dupont Street, not Annette Street, even though the former trolley route was named 4 ANNETTE. Annette Street runs between Dundas Street West and Jane Street. Just thought I’d bring that to your attention. Otherwise, great video! I remember riding the 47 LANSDOWNE trolley often as a young boy, especially during weekends. (-:

@D4090 Bloor West at Lansdowne. Just took a look at street-view in Google Earth and most of the buildings are still the same.

I think he thought I was filming him for management.
