Few pieces of feedback to help make future episodes easier to follow. 1) Increase the length of the overhead shots, and reduce the number of cuts to other three cameras. While I think the 4 camera setup is great, the ratio of the overhead camera shots compared to the other shots gives the viewers time to register the boardstate better. Thus, making the game easier to follow as a whole. 2) Love the amount of banter/interaction and the table, feels like a group of friends having fun rather than a scripted 'Show', but often there's multiple simultaneous conversations going on that get hard to follow. Tone the non-game specific conversation down from an 8 to a 6 maybe? I'm sure you'll find your groove in time. 3) Card overlay is great to have, very helpful. Life totals are a little hard to see (especially Joe's), maybe use a different app or have a life total overlay ? Wish you the best and hope to see more.

One thing I just notice was when Michael played Rakdos Charm, for the third choice, wouldn't that apply to every player? Even though the outcome would have been the same, I still dig the gameplay and the vibe the players brought to the table. Keep it up!
One of many misplays the drinks were putting work in and helping with the fun, but not every group have judge like players. I can't help myself I notice and keep track of all board states even when smoking and drinking all night. Lua miss like 4+ triggers of Kroxa would have been out of the game alot sooner.
I have tried in the past to watch gameplay channels but they ultimately are always sooooo boring. Then I found Tabletop Jocks and have watched every drop so far from start to finish. For me it’s the banter, trash talk, side conversations that make it a great channel. This is the kinda play group that makes MTG the 🐐
Loved to see all IHYD episodes and wondered about the recent events. I think as only as a viewer there is no need to argue about all that. In the end there is more mtg content, and that´s always nice :) So, stay positive and a good start for you and this new concept, nice episode btw. greetings from germany
I recently got into MTG and started with IHYD I know it's probably been said but I miss Joe being in there the chemistry on camera with Lynch was awesome idk what happened personally I heard stuff went down but don't care enough to look into people's personal lives I support IHYD still but I hope this new adventure for Joe also succeeds

Was cool to see the Kroxa deck go wild! Good banter and humor along the way too. Not playing the Negan minigame multiple times though got rid of part of the fun and utility of the card which was a bummer. Next time play out the mind games with Negan!
When you change the cameras to the top down prospective can you have it be the same as the placement as your main cameras. I feel like it would help keep the flow of were everything is fit slightly better. Just a little productive criticism but I love the show! ❤️
Apparently he's extremely toxic. So I don't know about that Steven. He's been removed from IHYD because he treated people awfully and there were screenshots in the IHYD Discord of his behavior. Ngl Lua I have a very similar issue with my dear lathrill deck. Always mana starved even tho I run 28 lands and at least 11 mana dorks. Opening hand is always trash no matter how many times I mully. Hoof always in opening hand. BUT when it goes off, oh my damn does it look impeccable
It definitely does pop off when it does! My starting hand was the hoof and I just thought I could get there. It was my first time putting it in my deck!
Great game looks like you had a blast. I really liked Chea's Neagan deck the only commander I hadn't seen played yet, though I'll always play out triggers especially when there's many tokens to target good odds your getting two also thats the fun of the card. Noticed you don't really play with any mulligans rules I know not all play groups play with the same ones but I always build my decks with that in mind makes way better decks in the end.

I keep trying to find out what's in that jumbo cactuar, but I can't seem to find it on their website or even online! I have to know, it looks delicious! Also love the content, been trying to get a game in after changing my main commander deck for the 4th time, and every time I plan out a day to play, either work gets in the way, I end up going out to DoorDash, or the people I play with get pulled away(or forget altogether), and it makes me sad. I only want to run a naya landfall deck full of shenanigans, is that too much to ask?

Not a huge deal but FYI Teysa doesn’t double the treasures from negan because he makes them from ‘sacrifices’ triggers not a ‘dies’ triggers. Teysa only double dies triggers
@@cheachea5634 wait. I'm dumb what's the difference between dying and sacrificing? Isn't the creature dying if it's being sacrificed? Sorry I'm sure they have different rules reasons, I'm just not getting it 🤣
@@TheRDRipley Don't feel dumb it confused me also Cuzo. Normally Sacrificing does result in a creature dying. But "Whenever a person Sacrifices" is not a Die trigger. So it doesn't copy. Unfortunately, Negan's trigger isn't the right type of trigger Teysa is looking for. So Teysa doesn't make the 99 anymore.😵💫

Fuck yeah, also so good to see POC here. Growing up I never knew anyone other than me and my brother that played magic and it was labeled as a distinctly "white thing". Warms my heart here and with the better editing and quality, I can tell Ima be hooked. Congrats on the new endeavor and look forward to what comes next!
Same when I was growing up in the fighting game scene. I never saw anyone who looked like me and was faced with a lot of gatekeeping! This is the space to make moves and I'll definitely be making that happen! We out here!!!
I love the card overlay and all of the personalities were enjoyable to watch. Loved the casual/eclectic nature of the decks selected, which felt relatable to a game at our local LGS! However, another commenter pointed out the side chatter and how distracting this could be. It's like everyone trying to get a word in at once and it felt frantic and took me out of the game. Would love to see more curated editing! Also longer snapshots of cards or at least the commander cards would be hella nice. Otherwise, this series looks super promising and something we could really be excited about watching! Thanks a bunch. Appreciate all your hard work in putting this together. Super dig the low key setting as well as players admitting things that they didn't know.
lol i just bought waste not both copys my LGS had like 3 weeks ago...put it in my SCarAB god, its payed off like u havent believed in the 2 game it came into play it was AMAZZIING

yo im not going to read all the comments but im like 95% sure that Teysa doesnt proc on Negan's second ability. his ability says when somene sacs something you get a treasure and Teysa says you double death triggers. sac isnt a death trigger
I dont wanna be that guy but when michaels commander ETB triggers, people lose 3 life if they didnt discard a non land card lol :P so the other dude with dreads had to lose 3 life and so did everyone else who did that
