Everyone should appreciate Henry Tremain. Obviously he has a different sound but he is still a great singer recorded and live. He also happens to be extremely nice and funny. Him and the Collis brothers have great chemistry on stage and the old songs are still amazing and fun live.
damn right..i remember briefly chatting to him on myspace when he was still in saleontomorrow he was gratious enough to send me a cdr in the post of some demos and stuff!..this town were my favorite band and i felt like they were "my secret"(im going back some years now pre animals)...its so weird to me that hanks now part of this town...i mean *cough* ttng :) i would love stu to re join and them to have two singers ..can you imagine how awesome that would be?
Very true. Henry gave me a hug when I saw ttng in Dallas on their diapointment island tour. After the show I went up too him and told him how much I appreciate their music and how much it had helped me in my life (which it did). He told me that he was very happy that someone could benefit from their music. It was an amazing experience seeing them live. Their music is medicine for sure.
For real though, i saw that footage of when a transition tanked during "Chinchilla" and Henry held the whole show together for just those few moments for everyone to land right back on the cue and it was perfect. He did it so cheerfully and brightly too while just smiling and the audience ate it for all three course meals.
I've never left a comment on a RU-vid video but this deserves the only one I will ever post. This is the most delicate, perfect rendition of the already amazing song it is.
I heard this song for the first time this morning. You know when a song comes on and it's just the perfect sound, the perfect mood, the perfect lyrics to fit how you're feeling? That happened today. I didn't know it, but I needed to hear this song today, and I did. Absolutely beautiful.
TTNG are so amazing. I am so happy i found them. Animals instantly became my favourite album and as i explore more of their music im falling even more deeply in love with its beauty. I hope they're still together and still making music
So sorry I'm not down tonight but all my friends have lost their minds and what's more, I'm not happy here anymore. I should have stayed at home tonight all these bright lights and company are not what I need it's the same as it was before the same faces there to hit the floor my legs have carried me far there's still the strength enough for one more so let's carry on and dance to all the same songs like back when we were young and nights like this would fade to one. So let's get out of here we've done all we can this place is not dead so when will this night end? We'll do it all again next Friday night is picture post card modernity It's the same as it was before the same faces there to hit the floor my legs have carried me far there's still the strength enough for one more so let's carry on... and dance to all the same songs like back when we were young and nights like this would fade to one
Love this! Its very emotionally moving.. There are other who benefit from such wonderful music, I am one of them. I too, write music that soothes the heart for myself and those who enjoy the style. Keep up to great work guys!
What you are hearing is naturalized delay, from the sounds of it they had his clip mic on his shirt as well as some form of compressor hanging around somewhere and the effect is that there's a slight milisec. delay between the two mics creating the tone you hear that makes you hear it almost as two voices.
Absolutely beautiful. I was totally freaking out about his voice until I saw the microphone on his collar and realized it was processed. Still beautiful although I could not listen to a full album like this.
fist time I've heard this version. The guitar parts sounds like a song I wrote back in the day. like. 2006 or 2007 in UNI. It's really weird hearing the same harmonies.
Their Performance of this at Borderline London dropped the jaws of everyone in the room, the crowd didnt make a sound, you could have heard a pin drop, unforgettable gig.
cheak out american football/cap n jazz/owls/owen/joan of arc or any of their other stuff..its all good.. or you maybe related and are being sarcastic!..if so kudo's to you im not trying to demean how much of a music geek you are :)
@@Durandal734 Super late but Henry plays a modified 6 string bass mostly. He’s just doing bass duties on a guitar. Notice he’s just carrying the bass line while Tim does the lead parts
Pretty sure they're all American Football fans as well as fans of the other Kinsella projects. They definitely have some other strong influences though.
God I miss Stew...oh well, this is still amazing and at least they are still making new music. Haha this sounds like it's straight from American Football though when it's slowed down like this
