+Scoop Scoopian Tim gets all the credit but what Henry does is maybe more amazing to me. The singing notes are pretty irregular in terms of rhythm, and he also does the bass lines...
When you take into account all the years of practice these guys have(plus natural talent) it's not a crazy as you would think. Still really impressive tho. It definitely takes a lot of work.
+David Adams (NewWorldOtter) that is true, i have played for years and listening asimetric songs like this and it turns common to make songs with this rithm, but that melodies on guitar, just fuck me at all ever 😂
Victor Villareal from Cap n Jazz and Owls. Cap n Jazz formed in 1989 and Victor developed this style as Cap n Jazz turned into Owls after Davey left to play to in the Promise ring. Listen to Owls and you'll understand,
Basically he rips off owls, a much better band with a little more variety in my opinion. There's no denying this dude is amazingly talented, but every song sounds way to similar in mood and technique.
uh yeah lol. it's pretty much a majority of what i listen to, and this band may be complex but anything after their first ep is a snoozefest. every song sounds way too similar. i'm not saying they're bad but there's a shitload of bands in the genre that are better.
owls, maps and atlases (early), their/they're/there, Ghosts and Vodka, (early) minus the bear, look mexico, algernon cadwallader, american football, faraquet, sharks keep moving, and there's a shit load of other lesser known bands that do it.
Trust in time evaporates To cloud the mind into bursting, With a rain that spits off the lips, A barrage of hurtful insults. That eventually accumulate Into floods of tears and heartache. That erode the coasts And storm the sails Of relationships Age bitters in the mouth. Words trap in the teeth And like food decay. With the sour taste of time Tripping off the tip Of the tongue. Sleepless nights Tied awake In beds of knots She's known some of the best. She knows there's no need To hold her breath. Sunk by the passing of time. The closest of friends All washed away. You've seen the coming of age. The crashing sound waves. You're all but done. Shipped wrecked on a Tide of tongue. Age bitters in the mouth. Words trap in the teeth And like food decay. With the sour taste of time Tripping off the tip Of the tongue.
***** Someone should have. Having a drumset that big is akin to public masturbation, nobody, atleast no drummer, wants to watch that shit. When a drummer can do more with a 4 piece than some jerk off with a 40 piece set, that's when he gets my respect.
+SitarKnight I agree with +TheSneakyOnion but no discredit to the singer/bassist! obviously this is difficult, and he is doing a fantastic job instrumentally and vocally, really holding his own. it just sounds better in the studio, as most musical performances tend to do! still sounds great live! it's ttng, why would it be bad haha
+Goose Personally, I can't tell, which is why I like it. It shows me that this song is fucking awesome, and wherever is goes it stay's fucking awesome.
Love this song. was my favorite of 13.0...but this seems rushed. Could just be the difference between listening to something live compared to the C.D though.
This song is a ton of fun to play on guitar but I always get scared of snapping a couple of my strings off because of how you gotta tune them up beyond the standard tuning.
@@FriendOfTheNight24 Honestly, I just switch the two strings. For G, going up to A isn't bad at all, and the B string going up to C is nothing. It'll save you money!
Lead vocals, lead bass, lead co lead guitar, lead drums, lead guitar, thats the 13.0.0.0.0.0 album and ttng in a nutshell except now we get a discount, hank tremain is three of those for the price of one
can't get enough of this town needs guns! decade+ ago when animals released, and pennines was its own band, it was double good. All 3 of these guys (two brothers?) together are amazing - best math rock writers there are and very nice guys. PS - shame we have incidents like Sandy Hook in this world... cheers to TTNG for making their name in light of that tragedy
