I saw a clip from a production of this show done by someone other then starkid. The sons name was clothes hanger so when the line "clothes hanger the baby killer" was said the entire cast had to try not to laugh as the audience erupted with laughter forcing the cast to wait for them to calm down.

They said it one of the livestreams that they had planted names aka if someone didn't like any of the names shouted by the audience someone from the crew was always in the audience so they shouted the planted names among the others. But they also said it Jack Bauer was not planted that's why in the others footage Jeff is so suprised and happy. I think Mouthface was planted(I forgot by who) but the others were not.

@@pandamaci1515 They do advise to people renting the license to have some back up names in the audience when the names given are highly undesirable, or when people dont get the right idea that names can be "better". Its really no fun if you get 5 regular names. My group has an entire list of random names that we're going to give to the stage manager and sound guy in case of boring or undesirable names.

DOUCHE CANOE 😭 Also Corey was really good here. His comedic timing is better than in the professional recording. Jaime Lynn looks happy tonight too, not like she's unhappy other nights, she's just really smiley. Love seeing that :)

not sure about the original run, but i know a couple people who have put the show on and they usually find out as soon as it's decided so that they're prepared for that dialogue/song

i believe the voting takes place before the show, and the cast is notified during intermission. that way they’ll have enough time to prepare to sing the song
