It IS kind of hilarious how Vulkan looks absolutely fucking miserable in the background.

Gotta love how it’s called “for friendship” while in the background there’s a picture of Vulkan clutching the body of one of his sons and screaming in anguish

In the noble brightness of being anywhere near Vulkan, there is only friendship and camaraderie.

Though he is not the most dangerous Primarch in the setting, Vulkan is the most dangerous Primarch to the premise of the setting. As this fine music proves, he wields the mightiest power of all - the Power of Friendship. Upon his arrival the setting would immediately begin transcending it's Grim Darkness, becoming NobleBright within weeks. The Tau would be quickly assimilate into the Imperium as they would clearly recognize Vulkan as the Greater Good itself. He would finally ask the Necrons what they wanted, then earn a permanent alliance by giving the Silent King a few billion sequenced genomes. He would personally deliver the secrets of agriculture to the Hive Mind, booping all the carnifexes on the nose on his way out. Hunger would be eradicated forever with the parting gift of entirely automated Tyrano-Agri-Bio-Worlds, which constantly improved the volume, nutritional content, and tastiness of their output. The Orks would become the new best friends of the Tyranids, playfighting to their heart's content. This tremendous love along with Vulkan's just, compassionate, and wise rule, would improve the Imperium to the point that the gods of Chaos would purified. They would soon embody bravery, joy, kindness, and ingenuity. All Eldar, now permanently in a good mood and free from the threat of extinction, would start interspecies voleyball ("Vulkanball") leagues throughout the galaxy. Games Workshop would soon go bankrupt, but all employees would emerge from their offices with hearts full of goodness, gladness, and love.

The real reason why Roboute Gulliman was the primarch brought back into play for 8th edition: Vulkan may be a terrifying gigantic monster of a man with glowing red eyes, who can literally keep pace with Dark Eldar vehicles on foot and beat their vehicles to pieces with crude iron hammers, while taking wound after wound after wound, literally refusing to die, or reconstituting himself from his component molecules when he gets close, but he's also *the* perfect example of the all loving hero. If Vulkan were to be let loose on the modern Warhammer 40K universe, He would fix the imperium by literally bear hugging tthe grimdark out of it, until the only thing left was noble bright. Sanguinius would awaken once more. The eye of terror would spit out countless ponies chanting friendship is magic. The Necrons would decide life was all right and set out to nurture it. The orks would replace comedic sociopathy with comedic inability to cause any real harm. The squats would return. Black templars would finally remove that stick out of their asses. Slaanesh would start making anti rape PSA's. Kal Jerico would go back in canon, and make his living helping people get thteir lives back together. Gaunt's ghosts would find out a ridicolously wealthy rogue trader rebuilt and repopulated Tanith with as many residents offworld as he could find on a whim. Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.

Vulkan's just so happy all the time... which makes him the real oddball in the grimdark.

Sad that vulkan will probably never have a game model because he's literally too overpowered for combat. You managed to kill this titan of a man? Well good job. He came back to life literally next turn. Regardless, even if i'll never get to have my primarch in my army... VULKAN LIVES dammit!

I demand a spin off series of TTS of Corax and Vulkan on an ADVENTURE across the stars with cartoon villains and an overly happy outlook and this is the theme tune.

There is so much Grim Darkness in the universe, that every bit of good literally manifested into one person

This song is so unabashedly positive, my eyes are actually tearing. I feel this urge, this urge to go and do something adventurous and heroic, to go out into the world again and try again to save it. The world is beautiful and it is worth saving. Vulkan, the 41st Millenium doesn't deserve you... the 41st Millenium needs you more than ever. :'-) EDIT: Vulkan's hammer does not smash things, he makes things hug it just so tightly^^

Vulcan is officially the archangel of hope and friendship. His presence outshines even a greatest darkness and strongest warp storms all across of the Imperium of man.

I am so glad I found this. I cant stop smiling while listening to it (Probably because of Magnus-Power-Hugs,) but also because Vulkan is made of 20% kittens and 50%Sunshine, and this song perfectly expresses this.

They're so metal and badass, but in the end they're a chapter about friendship and helping others xD

you know he's all fun and smiles till you mention the eldar, then its like a switch. I've seen it only once man, the slight crevicing of that eternal smile into a slight frown. The look of pure concentration he gives before walking off into the distance. You'll never hear him coming again, for the last thing you will ever hear is the rising tide of pure immolating flame baring down upon your world. None were spared.

The really scary thing is that the new Vulkan has now merged with the Orks, the only other happy beings in 40k, which means that the happiness might hit critical mass soon....

Why be angry if peoples actions are fleeting? Why know fear if death is a mere inconvenience?

What I love about Vulkan is that he is both the epitome of physical strength, being stated that he is taller than his brother primarchs when they wore terminator armour even if he worn lighter marine armour, and being literally unkillable. But also the primarch with the most drive to do GOOD with his position and power.

Vulkan, the man who was a god but stayed humble, tortured for months while watching all his children die and yet he never gave up his beliefs, tossed into an unforgiving galaxy and learned forgiveness. Vulkan is the best character in 40k not because he’s so happy, nor that he gives the best hugs, it’s the message he carries, there is an innate humanity within us all that cannot be challenged or overcome by the grim darkness of the far future.

This music makes me want to....GO ON AN ADVENTURE!

When you play as a Space a Space Marine and fall though a warp tear and wind up in Soul Calibur where they call those tears phishers, the imaterium "Astral Chaos" and you run into some other Psyker who calls himself a Witcher, or something, who complains about falling through portals regularly. This music is for that quest.

All jokes aside, this is a really soothing and nice tune.

Vulken is too pure for this galaxy, if he hug me I could probably have my spine broken but suddenly feel all my guilt and desspresion for having the fallen around evarporate into nothing but pure comtempt.

Hey, StringStorm, don't know if you read these comments. But this is so awesome I am going to use this song in my Dnd game at the start of every session as a background for when I do a recap of the previous session. It just oozes hope and heroism and awesomeness.

Vulkan is not, by quite a long shot, the most dangerous character in the setting. He is the most dangerous character /to/ the concept of Warhammer 40k. The Emperor says Vulkan is one of his greatest creations, not because he is powerful, but because he is kind.

I like to believe that somewhere in the galaxy there is a fleet, painted red and sent by an outcast.
