My experience of listening to Abida Parveen ji live - both times in London and cried all the way through her performance, her singing transcends you to 7th heaven..... and now this is on loop when I go for my solitude quest (long walks) washing my soul with the continuous stream of tears.

Naseebo Lal getting the recognition she deserves. Her struggle has been real, unlike Abida Jee, she has always had her nay sayers and to witness her side by side with Abida Parveen, commanding her own is amazing. Kudus to Talal Qureshi for lighting the match that started this fire.

Naseebo lal has such a powerful voice, good to see she is getting the right song and right lyrics. Abida Jee has heavenly voice. Coke Studio came with a masterclass to start the new season.

Raqs-e-Bismil is not exactly conventional dancing. It's inherently Sufi at its core which is why it was added to the performance to add a further element of depth to the lyrical mysticism.

SOUL THERAPY. I think most listeners are at loss for words to convey the feelings that have erupted like a volcano. It has opened the inner space to feel more compassion and empathy for ourselves. The lava spilling out is a container full of emotions carrying the stuff happening beneath the surface. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the overall production. Naseebo Lal and Abida Parveen are soul containers wrapped in spiritually and laced with divinity. Xulfi and team have taken this to an unprecedented level. A lot was covered by you and yet it seems there so much left to unwrap. Any thoughts on the choir? In my view it bonded the mind and body of the amazing lyrics and injected it with a sense of happiness and well-being.

I feel Jyoti had gotten a deeper effect of this song. She couldn't speak for a while, just tearing up. ♥️ Love you.

Xulfi mentioned in "the making of" video for Tu Jhoom that each song this season will be shot on a separate/different set.

Everyone talks about xulfi abida g and naseebo laal. But the real gem in this song is ADNAAN DHOOL, he is such an underrated in all aspect of song, and very happy for ABDULLAH SIDDIQUI, first time he is getting the proper chance.

Abija jee also cried when she came live after the release of this song... This kind of song heals everyone ... 😭❤️❤️ Special thanks to Adnan Dhool ❤️😭

It was framed as a conversation between two women on what one should do. Great sets, great lyrics and of course, great vocals- from the ladies and the chorus singers

So that little interaction video was even more meaningful because of the fact that Naseebo lal was never considered to be a big stage singer, she sings those funky little songs which you hear on tractors and trucks, that was her fan base. So the so called civilised ones always downgraded her even after that PSL anthem last year she was backlashed severly. Abida g just set an example for younger lot on how to treat legends be it of another genre. LEGEND not just on the field off the field as well.

Props to coke studio for delivering such unparalleled songs consistently ❤️❤️ The production , cinematography , set design, Audio equalization everything is on point what a start to the new season...

and as far as the song is concerned, Abida Parveen Jee and Naseebo Lal Jee, they are living legends of our nation, it doesn't matter kahan se inka taluq hai inho nay Hidustan Pakistan dono nations k writers ko parha hai gaya hai hm tk pohnchaya hai, It can only be possible in the form of musical language. Zesshan Pervez is the guy behind the direction, he's a band call Sajid and Zeeshan, and the duo created some really great songs over the years. BTW Zeeshan has been with the CS since season 1.

Brilliant song rendered beautifully by Abida Ma'am and Naseebo Lal. Lyrics were just out of world and depth was unfathomable. But more emphasis on visuals like set and dance was bit alarming. I pray they don't make it another bollywood extravaganza.

The voice of Naseebo Laal is body breaker and, The voice of Madam Abida Perveen Is Soil Breaker.

It is surely the first time i saw Abida ji smiling, it just felt like they were feeding off of each other, the high pitched controlled delivery of Naseebo ji with the unique freestyle free flowing style of Abidaji with the always picking and resonating choir was amazing. The reaction was great and very detailed, thank you for acknowledging the lyrics and their impact, its adnan and hasrat sahab merged into one, it made it the pickup and at the same time let go of your emotions kind of a tune, I've cried several times already. The new feel is due to the team of Xulfi, the youth brought that flavor, the bts and making videos are awsome as well and I think every song will be celebrated in its unique way and those extra videos that you two always asked for in the past are there now,. Literally one song is one entire episode and because none of them are covers they deserve the thorough view from start to end. There is so much more to say but its a great start to the season and I'm writing this after the second song so go check it out as well and also do the reaction videos on the journey videos, specially the one with Eva B. Just finished watching the reaction............watched Tu Jhoom early morning Toronto time yesterday, and there was only one reaction from a Turkish singer, I was crying, and that singer was also crying without understanding a word of Punjabi/Urdu poetry. The song has hit almost 4 million views in 2 days, and that proves only one thing, that we are all the same, no difference, no creed, no race, no religion, no caste, no country, nothing can separate humans and derail humanity. Coming back to what are we witnessing is aptly said in this reaction, that we are all blessed to be in this time, in this realm to listen and see the contribution of all these geniuses on one single platform.
