Tua Tagovailoa has had major head injuries this NFL season on the Miami Dolphins! Tua suffered his first concussion against a game where the Miami Dolphins faced the Buffalo Bills! Tua seemed shook up and it seemed he would play the next week! However team doctors cleared Tua Tagovailoa to play against the Cincinnati Bengals where he took a gruesome hit and Tua suffered the worst concussion imaginable in the NFL by being knocked out and sent into a state of fencing! It seemed his season could be done but Tua Tagovailoa recovered! Until the Dolphins faced off against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas where Tua Tagovailoa suffered his third concussion of the season making many wonder could Tua be done in the NFL as he could potentially have CTE and horrible brain issues! I hope the best for Tua and a full recovery!

@@sirql8truth us despite what the media says about CTE, all studies currently done on it found next to no evidence that head trauma causes CTE. In fact there is a debate among pathologists if CTE is even a real progressive illness based off the current evidence. But yeah Tua should just take the money and bail no use risking it even further

I feel bad for the guy, but my goodness he's terrible at falling. The 2nd one was tough because he was thrown down pretty hard, but the 1st and 3rd were routine plays that happen almost every down. If he doesn't learn how to fall, he's going to have a very short career.

If you watch the second concussion in slow-mo. You will notice Tua steps (watch his left foot) on the leg of the defender right before flying back. Not only was he viciously swung around but was also falling with even more downwards momentum from losing his footing. A brutal slam

that has to be related to his hip dislocation back in college. He probably trained himself to stop step like he did when he dislocated it but it has opened up a higher risk of these head injuries

I get the 2nd one for sure, would probably concuss 95%+ of people. But #1 and #3 were avoidable. ESPECIALLY #3. It's like he doesn't know how to fall properly. Look at elite skateboarders. They manage to stay healthy in falls that would destroy 99% of us. This is like the opposite though, Tua turning average falls into concussions. Someone needs to teach him ASAP.

No, number 2 was even more preventable. The Dolphins allowed him to play when they knew he already had a concussion. The medical staff and coaches involved in that decision should at minimum be charged with reckless endangerment and medical malpractice.

People think concussions are just from hard helmet to helmet hits or violent collisions...most of them are from plays just like this where a player is falling backwards and their head hits the ground or just the neck snapping back and whip lash happens...the only way to prevent this type is for the players to start wearing some kinda neck brace...

Hit 2 was predictable and preventable had the league exercised common sense. #3 was a travesty. Tua is a fierce competitor, but his brain's capacity to withstand even mild hits is clearly lacking starting @ #1. for all u saying he goes limp, the dude literally suplexed him and he's like 300 pounds, his leg also got caught up but besides the o line cant block for shit. the bills player shoved him for no reason (probably wasn't expecting to be shoved) and fell backwards, and on the 3rd one he was tackled from behind and grabbed by the legs, you can't prepare for that. everyone rambling but he stayed healthy a full season tua up next

The helmet is not magic. When tackled, its best to tuck your chin in towards your sternum, especially if your going to land on your back or side. This prevents the head from bouncing off the ground. The incompetence of the Miami training staff in preventing further concussions and offering guidance is laughable.

Whiplash head to ground injuries are pretty hard on anyone. But Tua has been injury prone throughout College and now in the Pros. His body is made for this game. That should have been clear in any scouting report. Shame on them for drafting this guy. His risk rating is super high.

If he cared about his health he'd leave. From a strategic standpoint, maybe hang around another year or 2. I'm still not sure how the AFC east will turn out. Probably the most unpredictable division in football right now. I've got Miami as a solid #2 right now. Buffalo is #1 but there's no denying they're on a gradual decline. Jets have literally one good (elite?) offensive player in Garett Wilson and that's it. Not sure a 39-40 yr old Rodgers changes their situation much. Pats are a definitive #4, not sure this one needs much explanation. From a strategic standpoint, and again, not sure this should take precedent over his health, but he might want to hang around. It's not inconceivable they could win that division.
