@jackwang9536
@jackwang9536 5 дней назад
@@Not_a_smart_man That is totally unfair. I became a subscriber when Hamlin got hit in the chest and stopped his heart. Dr. Sutterer's quick response video and clear medical explanation was intended to fight back against all those antivax idiots saying it was the COVID shot. Hamlin's heart stopped because a football helmet hit his chest at exactly the right spot & time. It disrupted the electrical rhythm of his heart. Immediate CPR and a defibrillator saved Hamlin's life. I was impressed by the doc's video because even though I knew exactly what happened to Hamlin, the doc confirmed it and at least told me the official name of the condition: commotio cordis. I'm a parent. My kids play sports. Kids in this country playing sports get hit in the chest with things like baseballs and hockey pucks and die because we don't have enough awareness that this can happen. Hamlin's injury brought up a key need that every neighborhood park hosting sports should have people with CPR training and defibrillators on hand. If Dr. Sutterer's videos helped save a kid's life, that's worth more than what RU-vid is paying him.

they said on broadcast that after 6 mins off the field they knew he had a concussion. I was like, "huh? I knew as soon as he hit the ground". This is why they're trying to control leading with your helmet. He slides there, he's fine, instead he puts the crown of his helmet right into Hamlin. He basically concussed himself with no doing from Hamlin. Pros just all of a sudden forget every fundamental aspect of what NOT to do on the football field to protect themselves the moment they get that NFL contract. You learn this stuff in grade school. The fact this stuff continues to be a problem is mind boggling to me. RGIII is a perfect example of what can happen if you refuse to protect yourself while running with the football especially as a QB.

As someone who live in South Florida, but isn’t a Dolphins fan I told all of my friends and family that giving Tua that extension might come back to bite them in the butt. It’s not his talent, dude is talented. It’s his injury history! He got hurt at Bama and he already had three or four concussions before the start of this season. He’s a great person and obviously no one wants to see him or any one get hurt. We have to be honest, he’s injury prone. I was surprised that he was cleared to return to football after suffering three concussions in one season and now he has another in week two. I can’t imagine any doctor clearing him to return. At some point someone has to sit him down and remind him that there’s bigger things in life than football. He has his whole life ahead, he has a wife and a kid (I think). He needs to retire
@greyklopstock7155
@greyklopstock7155 5 дней назад
And that's three or four concussions AS FAR AS WE KNOW! We knew when he had that really bad fencing response a while ago that he'd been stumbling a few weeks prior, but we don't know if he had multiple small concussions that cumulatively led to that snowball, or if it was just the bigger hits we saw. He could've had a few hits to the head in high school and college that we weren't sure about cause he knew the right answers. Ex players have talked about guys memorizing all the answers or teammates feeding players with info before they get tested, even knowing how to play the odds and guess on certain tests that have a set number of outcomes (or "how many fingers am I holding up," "what's the down and distance," "what quarter is it," etc). Concussions can add up. If I were his friend, I'd try to tell him as carefully as possible that it's getting worrying that he's having another big head injury. It sucks, but he's a good young man with a whole life ahead of him and a family.

The whole narrative on this is wrong. Tua is now too high of a concussion risk to be playing football. They wouldn't even let Colt Brennen play ever again after his one concussion from a car wreck. I don't know when it really all started. But I've been paying attention, and I noticed that something is wrong with Tua's nervous system. Back when he had those other head trauma's I quickly spotted that his fall reflex was failing. This is my way of saying he would fall and not attempt to brace his head in any way when falling backwards. Even a toddler will twist and throw arms down or use legs to catch a backward fall as a reflex. His reflexes are failing. He has brain damage in the motor skill area of his brain. I think He must retire right now. That was a just a shove and he was falling apart. Ive had three concussions myself and one thing I learned is that after each one, your chances of another go up by 5 times. So this means if you've have 3 concussions you are 15 times more likely to get a concussion. This is because your brain has "learned" how to shut down better and it remembered how it saved you last time. Each time the reflex of shutting down the brain becomes a stronger neuropath. It seems we can even get good at getting concussions. Sorry Tua, but you will have to take a different path now.
