As humans, we are all constantly a work in progress. I'm certain B.A. has learned & evolved as a person/coach since coaching Tua. Tua comes off as someone who has a "victim mentality". Always wanting to blame others for their own shortcomings.

but how do you know which player needs more or less coddling? just randomly treat everyone different? or just treat everyone pretty much the same way... if flores started coddling tua everyone would think he was getting special treatment...it doesn't work

I dont doubt Flores did what Tua said he did. I too would be pissed at him for saying it and it wouldnt motivate me any more than I already was. But thats not uncommon and if he was an issue and Flores had a real problem with him he would surly expect it would be handled it man to man. Not for a national audience (not me I wouldnt listen to Dans show regardless of who is on it). Tua would be so angry if he was the problem and Flores blasted him for it. Maybe he was a terrible listener. Maybe he expected to be treated differently than everybody else because he was the quarterback. Would Flores tell us if that was the case? No he wouldnt. Neither should have Tua. That all being said Bill Parcels was one that called people out in front of a national audience and was cruel at times. Did it with a wry smile even. He is considered by most as a great coach. So it leads me back to players as a whole being soft.

I wasnt soft i just picked up on his personality. Just do your job, extra projects, at above par and he will start to joke around and prank you. If he did that he liked you.
