Thank you for this, there are thousands of us out here who cannot be there or any Tuba Skinny Live performance. The PA system is stellar. The way Shaye plays that Armstrong solo on Sugar Foot Strut at the break just about note for note just floors me! Too bad no one sings the lyrics in the middle like Armstrong did. Also those little kids dancing to the music speaks volumes about the value of alternate music with real instruments, no computers and autotune besides what is forced on them by the corporate media brainwashing playlist garbage they are exposed to way too early, causing them to have only one or two preferences for music. They become culturally void musically uneducated adults with closed minds and ears. Like the 4 people who put a thumbs down who probably have no idea who King Oliver was, or the importance of Louis Armstrong and his Hot 5 and 7 groups - how Armstrong has had long lasting influence on the creation of pop, jazz and rock music, and even country music. The elements/ingredients in this music are all there for what was to come. At the end of the concert the crowd, of all ages, was screaming for more. What more could you want? Duh! Tuba Skinny has done more for music education by performing live and on tour than they will ever realize.
We, New Orleanians do appreciate them so very much. Unfortunately, due to mother nature they are not able to perform in their own backyard. Thank you for your appreciation for them.
Mother nature is not preventing anyone from playing in their own back yard! When you see babes wearing masks, that's something even fine music can't fix!
Thank you Wildon!!! for editing the complete " set "hig level audio and image. Tuba Skinny the ultimate band. From Argentina at the end of the world greeting

Many thanks for going to so much trouble, wildon. I think you have chanced on a world premiere: this is the first ever video of them doing 'Stop and Listen', unless I'm much mistaken. Like several of Erika's songs, they learned it from a recording by Merline Johnson - this one made in Chicago in 1940: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oXarHgmNBw4.html . It's song in the key of C minor, having melodic and harmonic similarities to 'Summertime' (which had been composed just six years earlier). By the way, there was also a tune called 'Stop and Listen' recorded in 1924 by Leroy Smith's Orchestra, but that was a quite different piece of music.
The only Stop and Listen Blues I could find was the original Smokestack Lightning. I'd love to hear this tune without the fire engine blaring in the background!
House full of women, they all full of pep, I can take care of 'em, I don't need no help, All by myself, Yeah by myself. I don't need nobody help me, I can do it all by myself. I wish.
Yikes! You guys played for close to two hours to a seriously small and aging crowd in Norwich, NY who would, no doubt, have preferred Lawrence Welk, and yet there you were! After hearing you numerous times in NOLA, I kinda thought you had more sense than that..!
This was one of the worst performance I ever saw the music was all right but camera work was atrocious they perform much better on the street I should say the camera work was much better that takes away from the performance they had
