Shaye is the band, Ericka and Shaye are like peanut butter and jelly. The band is great but the heart and soul are Shaye and Ericka. I pray God holds and keeps you and yours. Thank you for your hard work. You make people happy, never doubt that.

Tuba Skinny is a fabulous Dixieland band. I, at now nearly 80 yrs old, have swooned over Dixieland since elementary school. I have listened to their videos ever since I found them on RU-vid. Decades of dust winnow away when they play; iced tea, starched clothes, sitting on porches, polite chatter between neighbors, and "oh thank goodness" spoken every time a breeze stirs. I hope they're still being listened to a century from now!

Absolutely our favorite group in New Orleans. Catching them for one of their street sessions is what makes New Orleans the single best place in the world to see REAL live music. Huge congrats to them on their award, so very well deserved!

Love! Tuba Skinny. I fell in love with New Orleans and Rag Time when I was very young when I heard a piano player at Disney Land playing it. I forgot how much I loved it until I discovered Tuba Skinny on RU-vid. The award is well deserved.

I wandered into Preservation Hall one night visiting New Orleans. The music blew me away. When I had to leave the city, I was bereft without it for days, as if I was in withdrawal from a drug. If I lived there I would be immersed in the music as often as possible. You sort of “fall into” Dixieland jazz. Glad to know about this great band.

I am Scottish and born into a music family. More rock and blues influences = guitar and piano player and still play in London. But you guys remind me of my beautiful grand mother when I would watch her on piano playing boogie-woogie effortlessly, left hand flying, while my uncles would be playing sax, oboe, and cornet and my mum singing in your style. Wow you guys are so amazing and I watch you on YOU TUBE regularly and always fascinated. Intend coming to New Orleans in August with my musical wife. Hope to see you guys on Canal Street.
