Easily the best show of the decade. Music, fashion, cinematography, coolest cars, guns, and locations, this show has it all!

Haven't we all daydreamed of quitting with such finesse?

Ricardo Tubbs is one of the best characters in TV history 😎

“Oh, I’ll do you one better. I rather play the lottery in New York City, than Russian roulette in Miami. I quit.” The first time when Ricardo Tubbs was bringing out his inner Lance Vance persona out of him in this episode. Great acting by Philip Michael Thomas.

As this episode shows Miami Vice was not all pastels & bright colours. (Even that was part of the show's layout) it did tell some dark and gritty stories which some critics gloss over when talking about this show. Here PMT's Tubbs gets to take centre stage for a change - which sees him dealing with some serious issues.

One of my fave episodes, with an unforgettable song from Alan Parsons to close out the finale. Magnificent!

One of the best episodes with an extraordinary intelligent story. I like season 3 because of the "dirty" stories and the serious action. But this episode was the peak of the series. Afterwards, there were many very good episodes, especially my favourite "Death and the Lady". But all in all, Miami Vice started to end from this episode on. The whole idea of Miami Vice was packed into that episode. There is really no possibility to make any episode better than that.

Crockett did a great job trying to get Tubbs to settle down. I love how calm Castillo is and how he tells Tubbs to go home and get cleaned up. Crockett definitely knows that something's up with Tubbs because he's not used to seeing him act this way.

Second half of season 3, when the producers brought back the series trademark pastels quick fast when the ratings plummeted...

When this came out, I was so in love with both Tubbs and Chavez Y Chavez from Young Guns. One of my absolute favorite 80s episodes of all time.

One of my absolute favorite Season 3 episodes. Season 3 overall was a fantastic season and really the end of an era because the show never felt the same after that season when Michael Mann and Jan Hammer were phased out.

Trafficker (feeling uncomfortable and throwing the gun): nope (raises his hands and surrenders next to his accomplices) the police take away the arrested traffickers as Crockett approaches Neptune Sonny: well, who would say, in the end you were talented, maybe we should have a temporary work alliance Neptune: who doesn't love Happy endings huh Cro Cro? Pikachu appears next to Crokett Pikachu: Pika chuuu Sonny: and what do you say Pikachu Did you ever think about working as a cop in the south? -Message to Vin Diesel, the new producer of the future TV show "Miami Vice" that he wants to remake; Can you PLEEEAAASE Jesse Johnson, Don Johnson's son, as an actor for the character Sonny Crockett (like his father in the 1980's), because he is an excellent actor (he knows how to render, like his father, the emotional, physical and introspective side of the characters he plays), and also, because he looks so much like his father, that for "Miami Vice", it would be the most judicious and intelligent choice for this new series.
