You are both the BEST!! I will honestly only watch the videos you make because you can 100% trust everything they show us and educate us on for our health. I will always click the like button even before watching because they are that good. My favorite RU-vid channel hands down.
Discipline Dave is not too shabby pretty darn knowledgeable and he tests out many different brands and pays for most of them so it's pretty much an unbiased opinion on the tube bands and the loop bands he tries out
I wish you guys would make a full body workout video . I know you are giving a lot of options in this video, but a full body video, that we could do along with you
You two Gentlemen are a breath of fresh wholesome air amongst the muck of YT. Your videos have been beneficial and helped me numerous times. I'm definitely digging those floor isolators and that pot stir !!! I sometimes feel I lack a static stability with the bands as opposed to hand weights.
One concern with bands is that they do sometimes break and can cause injuries, especially to eyes. You might want to suggest wearing safety glasses, which are available pretty inexpensively on line or from a home supply store. I liked one pair so well that I bought the outdoor version as well to use as regular sunglasses just for driving and for doing yardwork. They look fine and are actually cheaper than a lot of sunglasses despite being better made and offering decent eye protection.
I recently purchased the tube bands and wall anchors from you, and I’m very happy with the quality. Thanks for all your information… working with a PT to deal with a shoulder impingement.
It's all about anchor points, and dealing with the unbalanced resistance curve. Loops let you pull from more angles - you can use one on each side , for chest presses for instance, so you're pulling from an angle that hits your pecs effectively. Also, emphasize the more stretched 2/3s of the movement, either by doing partials or one-and-a-half reps. The unstretched starting point gives too much rest between reps, makes it hard too work to exhaustion.
I always watch all your videos, even I no suffer from nothing, and always I find something useful!! The bad thing is I cannot afford all those super gadgets, but I improvise.. Bravo boys, very good job...
😂 I just asked this question to you on a video the other day. This shows up today.😂 i’ve got my tube bands from you guys and I am already feeling it. I’ve never enjoyed lifting weights. Love the bands
Way back in about 1963 I knocked myself out with a resistance trainer. Before surgical tubing, there was sets of springs with handles at each end. I had one end anchored, I thought, and was doing some pulling sideways. Something broke, opposite handle smacked me in the jaw...dropped me like a rock.
Tube bands to start out, then loop bands if you're still using them after a few months. I like bands so much better than weights, and they're way cheaper. I haven't touched my weights in the year since I got my bands. If I had known about them earlier, I could have saved myself a lot of money.
I love the bands ,but I would like to see you add additional handles for each band. I use a pole in the basement and have a band clip mounted on the top middle and bottom of the pole.By adding additional handles you can go from one band to another without unclipping.
I wish you would have shown how to use them on the door. It was confusing which one is better if you have to use the door. I have never seen the loop bands before.
I loved watching this video and excited about trying some of your bands. Problem is I'm a senior and can't handle weights over 10 lbs at the gym. It seems your bands start at 15 lbs. Do you sell bands that I someone like me with limited abilities could use? thx
Pole dancing💃! Fair is fair! Happy Thanksgiving to all our American Friends! Hubby's watching the games at a pub, I'll bet he's so glad I'm not into watching sports, today especially!
@@debbyesche1257 As it says: the resistance of bands changes as you stretch them, unlike weights, so you never know exactly what you are getting. There is no calibration possible. The real world of heavy objects does not act as such. So part of your muscles are getting a great workout at full stretch and almost nothing at the start of the stretch. There needs to be truth with stretch bands.
I have the feeling you guys just set your mic inputs at even levels and shoot the video. You need some to set the levels for you with a sound check. Brad is usually at a significantly higher volume than Bob, probably because is more soft-spoken and needs his volume to be set at a higher level. Also, when you have a guest on the show it is typical that he/she at a significantly lower volume than the hosts. I've been subscribed a long time, and this is an ongoing issue. Just get someone to help you by doing a soundcheck before you shoot the video.
Loops are more versatile, if you can only have one, I'll take loops. That said, the tubes can be useful too. Have both, use the loops more. They don't replace weights and cables, but make a great supplement.
@@BobandBrad i just try'd to order another masssager, wouldn't let me...gonna go direct to amazon this time, putting your name!?? To bring up your products!??
