13 years later in my life now I am 26 and still able to remember the first time I found this song on youtube in 7th grade. Big Scary Monsters doing big things by keep this masterpiece up in the vault.
@@tristan-tyson so weird how your brain does that stuff haha. The bassist in my band at the time made me a mixtape and this was on it! It's still in my glove box.
i saw this excellent band in hitchins club85, august 6th, playing with the superb Tellison, and model horror. All are totally awesome bands on cd and live.
fugazi are inspired by Queen, Bloc Party from the cure. Everyone has inspirations and influences, but actually I think these guys are pretty good, their combinations pretty original! Long Live the Lord!
I know, and that's why I'm glad they tick the influence column. Although actually, Kele did say he was trying to completely imitate Robert Smith, so if anything he's the hollow bastard....t hat said I love Bloc Party... Although they sound nothing like tubelord
2 actually. A 4-track EP named 'Tezcatlipoca' and a full-length named 'Romance.' I don't see what difference it makes whether they released 10 albums after this one or two, the fact of the matter is they were absolutely mince.
@faucindic haha for real I consider this town needs guns the best math rock band that my ears have heard ;) of course theres allot of math rock bands out there that are good but theres something about them that makes them so damn unique
yeah i always compare them to biffy in their first 3 albums, tubelord are much faster and complicated though. Biffy are like my favourite band and im sure tubelord will become one of my faves, actually tbh they already are
@TheWhiteZanate I would say that although this is true, especially with TFOT's newer stuff, TFOT still hold a greater side on the post-hardcore scale compared to tubelord lord, who are basically clean vocals in all their songs except for the start of this one
What happened to these guys, used to write such amazing quirky stuff. Saw them at one of their first few shows supporting Dartz & Tellison (those were the days...) They're just releasing drivel lately, this used to be so fuunn! Another first album only band :(
