Tubular Cast On for 1x1 Ribbing

After the set up rows of the tubular cast on, how do you incorporate a 3 stitch I-cord edging....for a cardigan neckband ? Do you have a tutorial for this scenario please?!🧶💫 thank you

Thank you for this fantastic video! I am using the tubular cast on for a pair of finger-less mitts, but normally when I join in the round, I add an extra stitch to avoid the little jog. In the video, I see that we are supposed to end with a "purl" stitch. Can I cast on one more stitch after the "purl" stitch for my join and if I do, what about when I flip the needle around for the first set up row. Would I just knot into the back of the first two stitches? Will the "extra" stitch not work in this situation? Thank you so much!

Hi there, do we have to end with a purl stitch? My hat pattern calls for 56 stitches so ending with a purl stitch would throw this off…

It would have been helpful to include demonstrating joining in the round with the tubular cast on.

Next I’d like to see how you join those flat rows to knit in the round. Seems like it would avoid the nightmare of having twisted the cast on row!
