As a woman in my late 30s, this is sadly one of the only shows that resonates with me. Insecure is another. I can’t stand sitcoms where there’s a nagging mother/wife character. I can’t relate to any of it. I tell people that if I ever have kids, I want to be the dad. It looks so much more fun and easy.
