Agreed!!! My hair was actually down the middle of my back and because of my undercut and bangs growing out I chopped it off shoulder length but the undercut is barely 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and it’s sooooo awkward

I'm in the habit of under-cutting every summer. Maintaining it is trickier than you'd expect -- requiring frequent trims. Now in the winter it's looking really scraggly and I wish to be able to put my hair up without feeling gross about it. These tips I am going to sketch and put in my drawer to remind me that I have options!

Kaitlin id say no i hate n regret it the grow back has been slow tho all is different i dont like it i miss my long hair its so uneven also now its grown of course salon reccomend making it same length for better growth .
I got my undercut only a month ago and I regret it. I had super thick hair and I miss it so much ;-; You can't do as much with your hair style wise. My hair is super long too so growing it out and not cutting it is going to be hard.

This was actually very helpful! My undercut is the same length as yours and I didn't even think about the headband idea! I work at a hospital and we have to have our hair tied up so these hair styles will definitely help me out thanks!!

These styles are great but hair texture makes such a big difference. There is no way i could just twist my hair into a cute bun like that, it would spring out in loads of directions all spikey and stubborn and then probably unravel unless i put loads of pins and spray in it, it sucks i wish i had soft hair like yours!!
yes! Hair texture is a huge part of any hair style. These are just some ideas I came up with to try to help. It took me a long time to fall in love with my hair and the texture of it. It also took me a great deal of trial and error to become familiar with what types of hairstyles my hair can do! Hope the video helped in some way or another!! Have a great day :)
so, i've been watching your video for at least 3 times to watch if my undercut is already long enough to do your hairstyles, mine is about 2 inches long and i've been growing it out for 4 1/2 months now.... 😂i'm still waiting
These are so helpful. Wish I could actually do my hair tho. I’ve had to wear my hair down everyday ever since I decided to grow it out. It’s been painful.
What I used to do (this is still for somewhat longer growth). When putting it in a bun I braid the grown out hair not anything fancy just a normal 3 strand. And pin it up. Much easier then trying to pin up the loose strands

I did braid pig tails at work the other day. My undercut is like 4 or 5 inches long now. I just did them regular & a few pieces of my undercut were loose in the middle & half way through my shift this guy walked up from someone else's table & said "hey I really like your rat tail" I was mortified but I just said thanks. He genuinely meant it he wasn't trying to be a jerk but ughh. Thank God I found this video lol.
I had an undercut then I got a pixi cut because I thought there’s no way I can grow out an undercut... that pixi cut gave me 2 years of tourment and slurs so lowkey sad I didn’t hear about hiding it till now.
Searched this cos I’m 14 and cut the whole bottom half of my head and it’s so bad 😭 it’s literally skin bald with small patches of hair where I didn’t get it and cuts where I didn’t do it well.family doesn’t know and I gotta prepare for when it’s windy
I’ve been lucky because I did mine like right before quarantine but now it’s growing out and icky. But I’m not going anywhere anyways. I didn’t do as big as a section as her but I did over my ears and a point in the back so it’s a weird section. My hair is curly so it doesn’t even lay straight lol. My plan is to keep growing it out and cut my hair so it matches more but it’ll still be a while. I needed cover up styles in case I gotta look nice
My undercut is annoying me so much but what makes it annoying is it has been growing out for a few months so it's still to short to like make a small pony tail to tuck up and I have to go back to school in a few weeks haha 😂
