You can absolutely shoot a nail gun the way Dale is at the college kids, they even show Dale holding back the safety mechanism, so he could rapid fire the nail gun, it's great attention to detail.
Alan Tudyk is always so good in every role he takes on. For a few other fun roles of his, check out "A Knight's Tale", starring Heath Ledger, "Death at a Funeral" (original British version), and "Dodgeball". His roles are all very different, and very fun. For another fun Heath Ledger movie, I highly recommend "10 Things I Hate About You", a Shakespeare play disguised as a teen comedy. Great cast, great script, loads of fun. On the horror-ish side of things, some fun movies that are horror movies but don't take themselves completely seriously are "House on Haunted Hill" (1990s version), a remake of the classic with a great cast, witty script, and creepy effects, "Deep Rising", a monster-filled action movie from the maker of the Brendan Fraser "Mummy" movie (which I also recommend if you haven't seen that), "Slither", an aliens/body horror movie from "Guardians of the Galaxy" writer/director James Gunn, starring Nathan Fillion of "Firefly" and "Castle" fame, and "The Faculty", a fun aliens/monster movie from writer Kevin Williamson ("Scream") and director Robert Rodriguez. Speaking of Rodriguez, his movies "From Dusk 'til Dawn" and "Sin City" are both great. "Sin City" is an adaptation of a Frank Miller graphic novel, that is very faithful to the source material. Speaking of adaptations of Miller's work, "300" from Zack Snyder, a retelling of the Spartans at Thermopylae story, is worth a watch.
fun fact, stones can sharpen metal. You'll want an actual whet stone for razor sharp. Axes used for chopping down trees you want sharp. Axes for splitting fire wood are best dull, helps the wood to split
Fun reaction. This movie never got the marketing campaign it deserved, so I am glad people are finding it. Also, if you are taking recommendations, could do worse than Death to Smoochy.
I sure do wish they'd make the sequel they were planning for a little while. The movie did too poorly in theaters so plans were scrapped, but the cult following of this movie would make it possible, I think. Tucker and Dale are like the wholesome, country good ol' boy Harold and Kumar. They're the proverbial "those two guys" who can be tossed into any situation and make it funnier.
@@firstcityviews My gods they know Jay and Silent Bob!?!?!?!? That makes y'all even better. Wait, Tucker and Dale meet Jay and Silent Bob... TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@singingwolf3929 I've actually done sound and animation work for Kevin Smith believe it or not!!! Not that I know the guy or anything but I worked on a few of his podcast/cartoon mashups and a fun promo series of Jay and Bob vs. Plants vs. Zombies, you can find that one on youtube.
Alan is to me, this...guy (i've seen it twice, still can't tell tucker or dales names apart, like rocksteady or bebop) and the pirate in Dodgeball 2008
Great reaction and review! One of my favorite movies! You guys should watch the college kid edit where they show the movie through the kids perspectives!
@firstcityviews different cut of the same movie. It is under the perspective that they actually are insane murderers lol I heard the guys who made the movie didn't really like it as they released it as they intended, but still pretty cool how editing can change the entire story
You can shoot a nail gun like that. Small rod pulled on bottom which he is doing and you can shoot it anywhere you want and it will go that far and it can do damage
It's funny you mentioned that Chad is like half a step away from being Dracula with that collar. I used to always call dudes who did that Count Abercrombie. Oh! The guy who plays Chad played s similar character in the movie Ginger Snaps. It's a fantastic horror movie about a werewolf terrorizing a town and two teenage sisters having to deal with it. Highly recommend.
I can't say I knew anyone who actually popped their collar like that but we are from Ketchikan, Alaska, we are famously bad dressers, I've been wearing a hoodie and jeans since I was 16 or so.
The policeman actually believes them, is going to resolve the situation and is not an idiot.... if it wasn't a horror Comedy. They just had to put in the gag death.
I suggest you react to the Stepford wives from the 1970s. You should also react to deliverance with Burt Reynolds, in the heat of the night with Sidney Poitier and Lily at the fields also with Sidney Poitier.
