As a conservative, I respect Jimmy more than most “conservatives”. Jimmy speaks out repeatedly calls out the establishment, and his message is always rooted in support of the middle and lower class.
If nothing else, he’s honest. I can hear out anyone I disagree with about anything if they’re honest and in good faith. We’re supposed to disagree. That’s the whole thing!! The more points of view we hear from the more logical and reasonable we land. Im glad they do this. We need as much of this as possible.

You'll find that Dore is less left leaning than he claims. Also, there are not sides to politics only. But also a whole circle of mixed beliefs. Most are not Left or Right or Centrist.
Lol the American “left” (and much of the Western left for that matter) are nothing but simps for the Democratic party. Talk to any actual socialists or communists from third world countries, communists from Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and you’ll soon figure out that they are closer to the average Republican than these so called “socialists” that many American leftists think they are. Much of the American left is disconnected from actual working class people, and are very condescending and elitist. They come from middle-upper class communities, go to schools and universities which promote liberal narratives and talking points, and they are always canceling people who aren’t pc like them are aren’t speaking in the same way they are. I come from a poor, working class, black and brown neighborhood. If these “leftists” heard some of the things that are said that ppl in my neighborhood say all the time, they would cancel them. Which is why I always found it easier to talk to Republicans, BY FAR.
Yeah, he makes sense. He backs up his statements with arguments. And Carlson is a guy who is approachable and willing to talk to others, like he stated on numerous occasions. It's also obvious that they respect each other and have the ability to actually listen.
Do you see how Tucker lets Jimmy speak without interruption, acknowledges when Jimmy makes a salient point and looks for common ground? God, I miss the days when this wasn't like finding a unicorn

Jimmy Dore has a real gift. He is able to communicate his thoughts very well in a conversation. He has no social anxiety. Even Tucker, who I love, has a few tics such as laughing uncontrollably during a conversation. Dore doesn't have a hint of nervousness or need to sugar coat his beliefs. And he just souts it straight. Great conversation between two great people.
Been a huge Dore fan for a long time and if you're right leaning/conservative, listen to his message. Although he's to the left of the political spectrum, as am I, he's for working class Americans. The day we realize that both Republicans and Dems are working for Goldman Sachs and the elites will be the best day of our life.
@Christian Constitutionalist very cool that you're listening to some excellent ant-imperialist voices. I would however argue that leftist thought isn't rooted in anti-white dogma but rather an opposition to capitalism. Unfortunately our country was founded in a way to keep wealth in the hands of a small group of white men. We can look at how we industrialized off the backs of slaves and how blacks have amassed little generational wealth thanks to less economic opportunity and have been put in prisons at disproportionate rates.
@Christian Constitutionalist p2 I would also say it's ok to be proud of your heritage and also be historically critical. I'm proud to have persian heritage, but I vehemently disagree with the empire they built. I'm proud of the all the people that built this nation, but also despise how we colonized this land and how a select few designed a system to keep power in their hands off the backs of the many. I think your heart is I'm the right place if you're listening to anti imperialist voices, I just think that libertarianism will only concentrate power among large multinationals. I believe our wars and exploitation of working people will continue under this system as the incentive is still there. We have become an empire hijacked by speculators, straddled with debt, and characterized by our spread thin military + expensive failed military conquests.
@Christian Constitutionalist p3 sorry for the long reply. Marxist economist Richard wolf and war correspondent Chris Hedges are some voices I would recommend if you're interested on leftist analysis on our current predicament and solutions. It's more democrats that want you to read white fragility and check your privilege. Leftists know that it's the system that is racist and actually hurts all of us, as it prioritizes the accumulation of capital over people's well being.

Yes, I loved that. Notice how intently Jimmy listens to Tucker's differing positions. You can tell he's REALLY listening, taking it in, learning. It's beautiful to watch.
Best thing about it - they disagree on slogans with police reform, but as soon as they start talking details and policy they start agreeing, and find common ground. I’m not a big Tucker Carlson fan but he definitely earned some positive points In this interview. Long format discussion, no agenda talking points, actually listening and not talking over ++++* Unity is the only path forward.
I agree. It's so clear today the powerful don't want us talking to one another. They want us yelling and sticking to our own little bubbles. They're afraid if we do start talking we might find common ground. When we find common ground we learn who the people are causing our problems. I want those people causing our problems to be put out of power. I want the corporations exploiting workers, polluting the environment while they virtue signal investigated and kept in check. I want Healthcare for American citizens before we send billions to other countries.
I felt insulted about two years ago when Jimmy called Tucker pretty dumb in his show, I thought Jimmy should know Tucker better. But time has passed and Jimmy got to know Tucker better and better and right now they are friends. And they both pay great respect to Tulsy Gabbard by the way. Which is awesome.
The left has a real problem with common ground, drawing needless lines in the sand and impugning the oppositions character. Not saying that the right and conservatives don't have these problems (they do), but their problems are dwarfed in comparison to the modern left. I think Jimmy has had to deal with the neuroticism of his tribe, and in doing so has been harsher to people on the right then he would otherwise be if he wasn't hanging around ostracism-happy nutjobs. As Jimmy has been more and more willing to challenge the people in his tribe, he has become less beholden to their more unreasonable demands.
Call me crazy but I follow and watch both of these guys. We need to drive a populist "revolution'" where we put individuals first and fight corporate and government power and manipulation.
I also follow both of them, they're both great. Jimmy used to "pretend" to be shocked everytime Tucker made sense (which is actually most of the time), I'm glad to see that they've gotten to the point where they can acknowledge all the things they have in common and credit the other one for their good ideas.
Great interview! This is what we need more of on news channels. Giving people a chance to talk without all the short attention clips, shouting, fake experts ganging up on guests is a breath of fresh air. What a great discussion/interview here! Listen, I'm a socialist and a pretty radical one at that, but i can't help but respect the hell outa Tucker for having guys like Dore on his program. I disagree with him on the vast majority of issues, (especially domestic policy issues), but he is without question the best cable news host when it comes to war and our Imperialist agenda across the planet. I mean - he's not the best only with regards to fellow rightwingers, he's the best among everybody in cable news - period! He also is a decent dude who's one of the few in mainstream media to honestly engage with topics that he massively disagrees with others on, as well as with the people themselves - like Dore for example. Not to mention he's also very intelligent and never falls back on tribalistic/partisan talking points when debating someone or discussing a topic with someone whom he largely disagrees with on most things - but on that specific topic is in complete agreement with. I love Dore too, but i also strongly disagree with him on a number of issues as well, your never gonna agree 100% with people - that's just reality. One thing i can't fuckin stand when it comes to many fellow leftists is this refusal to even attempt to find common ground to achieve policy goals or affect societal change through other means, if that person they are reaching out to happens to be on the right politically. People forget that Fred Hampton of the Black Panthers reached out to the literal Ku Klux Klan in order to attempt to build a movement based on class solidarity, (sadly he was killed not that long after doing that). And regardless of how much you hate Tucker, he's certainly far less despicable that literal KKK members for fuck's sake!
