Tucker family cemetery in Hampton holds an important history 

Hello, my name is Rose Larkins and through doing some family research I have just found that I am related to Captain William Tucker who brought over the first non-slave (but are indentured) black family over to America. Antonie and Isabell named their son who was the first non-slave child born in the NEW WORLD after William Tucker (my relative). Although my relative had done some horrendous acts throughout his lifetime I was proud of this. It brought tears to my eyes to see the relatives of the first black family that arrived as non slaves and it is wonderful to see how they have flourished.
