Tucson Bead Show Haul Fall 2023! 🌵🪲🐢

I love the lantern beads. When I saw those yellow, orange & blue beads & even those orange & yellow stripe beads I though they would go great with the circus necklace I'm planning on making with these yellow pompom charms & orange elephant bead I got.

I dont know why but I have always been extremely drawn to orange beads. I dont wear any jewelry but love making with beads.

I know for sure that you will make something from the pendants you got from the first shop! They have to adorn you.! 😁 Amazing pieces and amazing prices for the beads. I was entranced by the cacti with stones. Never saw anything like that, woweee. My bucket list is to get to a Tucson Bead Show. And shop like the lunatic I am. I love the pendants for sure. I have quite a bit of turquoise jewelry in sterling silver. Its my favorite stone both the green and the blue. Mine are Kingman and Chaco Caynon. I believe in Naja the j is silent but I'm not for sure. The green is referred to ceremonial green turquoise. Kingman is the blue from the Kingman mines. Sleeping beauty which I also have of course is robin egg blue and there is a mountain from where sleeping beauty turquoise gets their name. Its in the form of a sleeping woman. I guess you probably know this stuff already but I was so excited to see your pieces that I just had to speak up about them. Your pieces you got are really beautiful. Hi Brittany! I’m going with a group of women who are fans of Sams bead shop to Tucson in February. I went last year for the first time and it was very exciting! Maybe I’ll get to meet you this year. The group is samfam goes to Tucson.

I think those prices are Hong Kong dollars - if you do the conversion, the numbers work out - 68 HKD is about 8.70 USD.

I am also very curious why the vendors put high prices on the strands/hanks but then call out way lower prices when they see the disapointed face of the customer. I recently went to the costa mesa CA gem and jewelry faire. The strand of lapis beads I wanted was marked $90 !?!?!?! But I only paid $20!
