I review my new 39mm Tudor Black Bay watch (M79660-0003) with its beautiful light champagne sunburst dial, along with its jubilee style 5 link bracelet. I particularly like the perfect symmetry offered by the no date design. The Tudor Black Bay line embodies the brand's signature aesthetic of understated elegance and robust construction. Tudor is a sister company of Rolex and shares many design elements with the iconic luxury brand. However, Tudor watches are generally more affordable and accessible than Rolex.

Congrats on this stunner! Great collection of Tudors also. I got the anthracite in 36mm last year and it is my favorite watch ever since. I love everything about it 🙌

I agree with your appreciation for that watch. I own the BB36 champagne and also believe it is the perfect watch. If ever there was an exit watch, I believe I have found it.

I tried on the Anthracite one a few months back and can't get it out of my mind. It was the 41 and felt a little big but still looked great. They didn't have any 39's to try at the time. Great watch. Congratulations.

Came to an AD and tried the Black Bay 41 Ceramic, but walked out even more interested in the BB 39 champagne after trying it on. Searched it on RU-vid and really enjoyed your video. I agree with your point of view, and it makes me want to take the shot and buy it as my first expensive watch purchase from a physical store, and maybe in the further make my way to its bigger brother for a Bruce Wayne GMT. Thanks for the great review. I tried on the Blue 39 a few days ago at the Tudor boutique in Glendale. I initially went the Rolex side to show my face/interest 😂😂 and worked my way into the Tudor store. Such a stunning watch, looks and feels great. I was so taken by the watch that I wanted to buy it right there and then realized it doesn’t have a date…??? I can’t believe they would make such a great watch with no date option. I think after this first release that in the next year or two, it will come out with a date option. What are your thoughts?

The Bb36 has existed for a while without a date. I always thought of it as Tudor's answer to the Rolex Explorer, but I guess you can argue that the Ranger plays that role now. But the jubilee bracelet signals it's moving dressier IMO, so I could see this happening and seeing them increase the flashiness and position this as a DJ alternative

I guess it depends on your taste. Personally, I would wear a full steel watch way more but I dress really casually.

I have this timepiece with the diamond markers. I call it the Bollinger dial. Close to the color of Bolinger Champagne 🍾 (I’m the first to call it that 😂)
