I think the BB58 looks great on the Forstner Jubilee, a very refined and classy appearance. Plus, jubilees are much more comfortable than oysters. I may get one for my BB58.
Really enjoyed this. 😃 You demo-ed how we all actually feel as we’re messing around with our springboard and bracelets. I just ordered a Forster bullet bracelet; so I’ll be battling this same problem soon.
I love it! I’m considering one. I’ve got a BB58 blue on bracelet. I love the way the bracelet looks, and the quality is very high. The effective clasp length on the underside of my wrist is over 50mm, though, making for an awkward fit! On the 6-o’clock side, the link meeting the clasp doesn’t fully articulate. On the 12-o’clock side, the clasp scissor-arms are about 3/8” longer than they should be. It’s a shame that Tudor made this bracelet so incompatible with small wrists, especially when the 39mm was made for this crowd.
I had such a hard time with the BB58 spring bars. I bought the Strapcode oyster v-clasp for it, and ended up taking it to a watchmaker to install. Just very tight tension on the OEM Tudor spring bars.
I am using the brushed jubilee from uncleseiko on my bb 58 Navy Blue. The uncleseiko can be modded and you can use the orig. Tudor buckle. I like this setup. But I am thinking of changing it for the forstner. I like the skrews…
Thanks for watching. It’s cool on the forstner but I think maybe the OG bracelet is the best. I bought mine on Nato so have been looking for something suitable for a while
@@eg4059 I also have the Uncleseiko jubilee, really nice bracelet but terrible quality on the clasp. Do you have any tips on how to swap the clasp for the Tudor one as you did?
@@WonderofWatches same here....can get the tudor bracelet for $650 but the jubilee is haunting me. And then the question of the day: spend money on a bracelet or use the cash to fund the pelagos 39 account????
I just bought the Jubilee for my black bay GMT. I sold the jubilee uncle Seiko version. The original tutor band. I also sold because it was just so uncomfortable.
And now they make Bullet style for both 20 mm and 22 mm Tudor BB watches. I bought a Forster Bullet for my Tudor GMT. I like it a lot, and thought the installation and adjustment of the bracelet was relatively easy.
I actually understand your point of view here, genuinely. The only argument I’d submit is that the gmt is also a tool watch. But yes, you don’t see divers on joobs too often.
@@WonderofWatches yeah but those Rolex GMTs ain’t no tool watch no more, shiny pink bezel nonsense, leave those to the ladies, and the insta big ball boys with no grass on their porch
@@richard_red_64 its still processing the HD and 4K versions. That's something I need to keep in mind for the future. Not to publish when only the SD version is available. Maybe that caused something with the version you started with on laptop
