Percussion masterpiece played by masters on conga, timbale, cajon and bata. Listen to the rich bass of the cajon recorded with LP's new cajon micing system using Audix mic.
This is amazing. I am however puzzled how the clave pattern correlates to the first groove. If anyone could explain this for me i would be forever thankful! Rhythm, harmony and blessings!
Yoël Lind-Ruos Looks they simply went from a 12/8 3-2 clave to Clave de Rumba also in 3/2 then soon after to a Pilon-Rumba-Mambo think, also in 3/2 clave. (Try not to mistake Clave de Rumba for a 2/3 Clave, though it may sound like there are two notes in the first half and three in the second there are still three notes in the first half of the rhythm (divided in half by beat 3 when counting Clave across 1 measure of 4 beats which is the most clear way to count it.)
