It is not surprising that an Islamic Sage should have a vision of Jesus Christ (Peace be upon Him) since Christ is deeply integrated in the Islamic Tradition; the Quran mentions him with such exalted epithets like The Word of God, The Spirit of God born of a Virgin Mary, The Messiah, etc. The Virgin Mary and Christ are the only Blessed Ones not tainted by sin according to Islam. Muslims await the Second Coming of Christ as much as Christians do. The Quran dedicates the entire chapter to Mary, She will be the first woman to enter the highest Paradise.
