Yours is definitely one of my very favorite podcasts- I love the makes, the answers to questions and your sweet friendship. Thanks for being my virtual knit group each week!
Such a lovely bumper inspiring knit chat, you both looked so lovely in your sweaters, want to make both and added everything else to my favourites too! your dress is epic Noelle and Lola is such a stunning pattern Kelly. Happy Knitting indeed!
I am always so happy to see the notification from your Knitchat. I can almost never make it live because it is during one of my classes, but I always look forward to watching it the next day :)
Thank you for another wonderful podcast. I look forward to seeing you both and love your projects. Very inspiring. I think I would knit the sweater in the Berrocco remix.
Kelly, move down here to North Carolina - no snow here!! We left snowy, cold Connecticut 5 years ago! Only negative is we miss our kids and grandkids. Anyway….love watching you and Noelle! Thank you! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sounds great! I am already on the other side of the country from my daughter and family and agree, it is definitely a negative. Thank goodness for our daily FaceTime visits.
finished blanket for son's full sized bed, 90" by 85" using coast held double. Used six cones and 4 balls . figured it out to be 13 miles of yarn. He is happy about it and after five months, I'm happy it is done. so you can get to the end of the cone. passing on the cardboard cones to a friend with a three year old to decorate as trees for christmas.
Your podcast is such a joy and the one I always look forward to seeing, even if I can’t catch you live. You never fail to inspire me with your knitting skills and knowledge and I love your choices of patterns! I may go get the Terence Bay Tee pattern by Leanne Lange even if I don’t win it, as I do enjoy knitting lace! I have no idea what yarn I will use, though. I’m a “buy-pattern-first,-yarn-second” kind of knitter! Thanks for a fun hour and a half!
Hi, I'm from Denver - not Colorado but a village in the county of Norfolk in the UK. I watch on catch up. Your podcast is fun and informative and I really think of you both as my friends. I have learnt so much about yarn and knitting techniques from you. I would knit the Terence Bay tee in Drops Flora yarn.
Love the podcast as always! I really enjoyed knitting with the Remix Light. However, I gave that sweater away. I’d love the Terrance Bay Tee in the same. Probably in their teal color.
I'm planning to start my summer knitting after Christmas. I'm trying to be more proactive. I have some yarn in my stash suitable for summer knitting, but will wait til after Christmas to match it up to patterns.
Hi Noelle & Kelly. Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving in the US. I would knit that beautiful tee pattern in Holst Garn Tides because I have several cones which I purchased for a mkal shawl. Thanks for your great podcast. It is very informative.
That pattern is beautiful. I wonder what yarn I could use? Maybe it would be a good excuse to buy more yarn? Love your podcast. Today I watched it while I was quilting. Very inspiring. Thanks.
Thanks for another lovely podcast. I'm currently working on the Boardwalk blouse by Poison girls and the Ghost horses top by Caitlin Hunter. I bought 2 pairs of clogs in sale as well, but in red and tan. I can't wait to get them!
Love all the knitting projects you do. Safe travels to you both. If I was to knit that pattern I’d like to use a wool I haven’t tried yet. Perhaps Remix.
I just watched the shadow wrap heel by Earthtones Girl, it was very easy to follow. I’m on a sock exploration to see what methods I like best since I just started knitting socks, so all the info you both share on your socks is so helpful. That new tee is lovely. #teetime
Sorry I missed you live. I knit the Cercis sweater last winter and I love it! (I didn't have to alternate skeins.) I'd love to knit the Terence Bay Tee. It would be nice in Remix light. I also have some CoBaSi on hand that could work.
Hi from northwestern Montana. I live near Flathead Lake. It's beautiful here especially with some snow on the mountains. I love all your podcasts and I learn something new every time I watch. Thankyou for all your great content and wonderful inspiration!
Thanks for sharing Carole. The snow is very beautiful to look at, it's just the dealing with it for driving that can be tricky. It seems Peggy may be located near you...possible knit friend?
I have some Expression Fiber Arts yarn I would use to make the Terence Bay tee but I would probably make long sleeves. Love watching you guys. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
I enjoy your podcast along with answering questions. I’m finishing the Corran cardigan while watching. The Terence Tee pattern is gorgeous! How generous of your supporters.
I love the Q&A so much, both of you are so knowledgeable and if you’re not sure you always find the answers for us. Thanks for all your hard work. Noelle it’s so wonderful to hear your son is such an yarn/yarn store enabler 😬 so sweet.
Great catching you live today! Hubby did come home early from golf but I still managed to watch all the way through. I was knitting away on a wedding shawl and finishing off my mini Christmas puddings whilst I watched you gal's today. Thanks for another great podcast.❤
Hi again both of you and I think I need to give you my real name Titti - it is… even though you won’t remember. 🤪 My favourite yarn are LisaLinkvarns MerinoSilk, so I would knit my sweater in that yarn.
I plan on casting on the Riptide slipover December 1st. Just deciding on a colour. I have a lovely neutral light brown or a beautiful red. Hard decision.
Love watching you every week! Thanks so much for a great podcast! Just wondering, when you use the alternating cable cast on do you use a smaller needle than you use for the ribbing?
Another fun podcast with so much inspiration, I started a Trym Vest with Rowen Felted Tweed and will finish it, BUT I definitely want to do the Riptide Slipover and have the perfect yarn for it, Ginger Snap 'Abloom" Squishy DK, it will look gorgeous, thanks for the inspiration!
