My parents gave me THEE BEST ADVICE growing up......"Be yourself, Everybody else is already taken"!!! My Parents Rock...and so does Hank Azaria! Cheers Everyone
This year I was entertain by a damn good magician/comedian (2016 commencement- Grand Canyon) The kind of act where he looks like a bumbler....then bam....WTF??? How did he do that. Over and over throughout his hands on statements. Time flew by quickly....That is what I needed. Entertainment that took one's mind off the uncomfortable seats.
People immediately started to chuckle when he started Apu's voice. Then once he got to the punchline, everyone laughed out loud as much as they did at the other voices. Stop looking for problems where there are none.
He once said that doing Duff-Man hurts his voice and he absolutely keeps the amount of doing him to a minimum, even during recordings he does Duff-Man last cause (at least thats what he once said) he can't really talk the next day after doing too much Duffman. So I can understand that he didn't.
By the time college students get to the commence stage in their higher education journey.......they damn well better have a plan already in place for their career. Understand what they want in life. Know who they are and how they can contribute to society (at that point in time). These commencement speeches should be told to the students in their first year at college. If they don't have a short term goals and long term goals in place by the time they graduate.....the butt hurt will pester them till they forge them. Very costly to wait till you graduate to think about the things said in commencement speeches.
