That landing! Loved how everyone clapped lol. So sorry to hear your experience on the TUI Dreamliner wasn't great, personally I do prefer their short haul routes on the 737s.
We always pay the extra to go premium when flying long haul with TUI, The use of the airport lounge at Gatwick. more choice of meals , unlimited drinks, more room and priority check-in makes it worth it to us.
@@TrainPlaneHub I have booked premium club on the tui Dreamliner next year to the punta Cana so excited it’s my first time flying on the Dreamliner it’s a late birthday present to myself
Great flight video I enjoyed it a lot. I hope you enjoyed your time in Jamaica if you left already if not I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in our beautiful island. I'm looking forward to a your Montego Bay plane spotting compilation or compilations.
I actually flew the B787-9 Dreamliner back to BHX-Birmingham and it was from Montego Bay and when we took off I was crying and when we landed I was crying so bad I kissed the chair the plane door and the tv the table the earphones (although I took them home with me)
Great report, I have watched trip reports from all over the world and in many countries I have heard people clap so no not unusual, likewise these passengers are probably so excited to finally be going on holiday.
@@aviationlba747 For a lot of people, a trip on a plane is quite a bit less common than a trip on a bus. If they want to clap, let them clap, I say. I really don't see the harm, and frankly, I don't really get why some people seem to have a problem with it.
Thank you for the video, very interesting. We are off to Dom Rep from Mcr with TUI soon. What row seat were you in, were they standard or extra space or leg room do you recall? Thank you.
❤ Thank you for this beautiful scenic flight ( starting with 🌧 the doom and gloom of Manchester, England) and continuing south; with a stunning view of the Bahamas, Cuba followed by an amazing 3-dimentional landing and approach into MBJ
@@Dogtown16v In '77, first plane ride, Montreal to Miami in the evening, it was a 747, looked like a train inside, far too long, would never fly, freaked out slightly, extremely impressed by acceleration, glued to the window awed by the lights of Boston, New York etc., very tiny thud said touchdown, I joined in when all 400 broke into applause, happy to be alive in Miami, back in the days when I and half the passengers were smoking. Belated apologies to the others. Sorry.
One could get that impression from the screechy or whiny noises, the likely culprit (going by a quick glance through aviation threads) being hydraulic pumps. In the words of one Tyler Durden on stackexchange, “Dogs have been reported to need psychiatric treatment after being transported on a 787.”
That TUI plane looks so cheap and basic, although the flight maybe cheaper I am seriously contemplating on sticking my flight on my BA card with Virgin Atlantic. Their 1st class experience looks WAY BETTER!
TUI don't have first class. TUI are a holiday airline, while BA & Virgin also offer a business product. BA's club world & Virgin's upper class is a premium business offering. Although Virgin don't have a "First Class" product. They combine business & first with their Upper Class. While BA offer a separate First cabin, as well as a business one with Club.
