I felt like I was becoming repetitive and predictable with my intros and music so I cut them out. It was time to change it up a bit. Thanks for noticing.
Of course whisky can be enjoyed w ice. The fact that you like it better w ice and in the summer is useful and I think it’s a good idea for another video of a list of whisky’s you like on ice.
Lighter and crisp, like a gin & tonic made with Bombay Sapphire. That's where I go. As for whiskies on a hot, hot day, that's rather what I thought I was going to try the HPCS on. Ice and mixers.
I liked other easy-going Tullibarines with age statement for summer. Nothing impressive but nice for summer. This one here is 24 Euros. Never tried it on ice and it's below 50° F right now. So not the time yet but I might try it out if the neighbors don't see it... And for real summer afternoon in a nice café in town: try a (dry) Riesling, a Rosé on ice, Lillet on ice.
Not too many videos start off with ice in the glass, this might have been the 3rd one that I can remember. Sounds like an ok whiskey. Thanks for the review
@ErikWaitWhiskyStudies good choice. As soon as I see the Ice, it helps get a perspective on what to expect. At first I thought you were gonna describe it like the Highland Park cask strength, lol
It is a whisky decanter. I bought it at the Macallan Distillery gift shop but I have seen them at other distillery gift shops. I searched on Amazon but didn't find it.
