Ngl I thought this would be advice on how to use Tumblr. You'll be glad to know that I preferred this version much more.

Lucy!! You're so right about being naked more! It can actually help you be more comfortable with yourself if you're comfortable being in your most vulnerable form. My parents hate me being naked, even though it's only in my room. I was naked and texting someone yesterday, then my mom barged in without knocking and started yelling at me that I needed to put clothes on and that I'd better not be Skyping people or sending pictures to others. And I was like .....so any nudity automatically has to be bad? But I'm not ashamed of my naked body 💗

I really love these advice vids, not stuff about high school exclusively but how to better yourself and learn about yourself, I would absolutely love a video about personal growth if that's a thing you might like to do???? maybe???

The not getting attached one is a constant struggle for me. I tend to not outwardly show my attachment to people, so they do not get any cues to reciprocate that attachment. My thought process is if I'm more distant then I won't get hurt, but at the same time the attachment becomes more one-sided so they won't feel bad about growing apart whereas I'm distraught. idk if this makes sense but this is just a stream of consciousness

"Be naked more" YES YES YES!!! Sleep naked if you can, not only is it a confidence booster, it's also proven to have general health benefits! :)

i'm not sure if you already do but you should create podcasts, your voice is so calming and so lovely to listen to sorry if that sounds weird😂😂but occasionally when i'm tired i watch your videos with my eyes shut because i feel like your voice is perfect for podcasts anyywayyyyys love your videos haha x

I used to really suck at letting people go when I was younger, and I think that I went too far when I learned how to cope with it. Nowadays I find it difficult to grow attached to people in the first place. It takes time and effort for trust to grow, but both of those things are in short-supply at my age (Mid 20's).

i second that naked thing. ive had body dysmorphia for years and since moving to uni 2 years ago i started sleeping naked and pretty much any time im in my room im in minimal clothing. ive started seeing my body as totally disgusting...its like the more ive looked at it, the more Ive accepted it. recently (ie the past few weeks) is the first time ever ive looked at my body and been like 'actually, youre ok. youre not ugly...youre actually quite decent!' 😂

So I'm on a bit of a late night Lucy Moon marathon (as you do), but I just wanted to say that the advice you gave in this video is some of the most relevant and helpful advice that I have come across/been given especially for a lot of the stuff that's happened to me in the past year. Thank you 2017 Lucy, you've helped 2018 Daniela significantly ❤️. Alright, I'm gonna continue with that marathon 😅.

Something that's also quite important to consider when you're getting back with someone is how much you've hurt them. if you're the one that's been pulling them and pushing them and manipulating their feelings, you have to recognise that and be the one to say that you shouldn't get back together because it's not healthy

0:13 wow I don't remember sending you this ask.... Anon, I feel you, you are certainly not weird or alone. A part of me has always felt like "ugh I must be unlovable" when watching my friends in relationships and being the epitome of the third wheel, but you are not your friends or the people around you, you are your own person and things will happen to you at a different pace, and that's okay. And since you're older than your friends were when they started dating people, you have a more defined sense of self and identity, which is super cool and great. Like you better understand yourself and what you want than someone who is thirteen and in a relationship. So it has its benefits as well! :) Also, I love Aunt Lucy, this should become a regular thing for sure.

I agree with so much of this, and I know that your advice is yours and all that, but the question about asking if someone likes you, really depends on the age. Now, if I liked a guy I would be super comfortable saying that because I'm 20 and people have better things to do than make an issue of it, but until I was at uni, the people I liked, the people I hung around with were very drama-oriented. At college not so much, because I started dating outside of my normal group, but at school, and first year of college, if I told a guy I liked him, he would have told all of his friends, who would have told the girls, and within maybe a day or two, everyone would know that I liked him and it would be constant snide comments for up to 3 weeks sometimes. We were a very close-knit year group, so idk if this applies to many people, but at my school, I wished it was as chill as it is now.

over the last half year i feel like i have really found myself, my self confidence has increased very much to the point that i can say that i really like myself. It's just that apparently nobody else (im talking about strangers here, like those people you meet at partys, not my friends there lovely) seems to find me interesting. They are all just interested in my friends :/

my brother (45) got back together with his wife after splitting for 2 years and nearly getting a divorce. they still love each other but the main reason they got back together is because of theyre 2 teenage kids. my mum and I arent happy with the situation because he was hurting so much but we have to deal with it because he and the kids are happy. my advice is if you are happy dont feel bad about getting back with an ex because even if people disapprove its your life and your happiness. make it about YOU! if you are happy, fuck everyone else and theyre opinions because they dont matter.

The part about ending friendships seems so obvious but it never occurred to me. I just lost someone who I called a best friend for years, almost a third of my life. And then she got a boyfriend and she didn't need me anymore but I still needed her. It felt like a breakup. I didn't understand why she wouldn't want to hang out just the two of us like old times. She stopped calling, stopped making plans, and it hurt so I cut off ties to stop my brain from wondering what I did wrong. But from all of this I became extremely close to two other friends that I didn't realize we're always there for me and I wouldn't want it any other way now.
