DGDGAD capo 4. This tune starts out with a beautiful and ancient feeling melody, and then I revisit some chords from a previous tune (no. 45) I've done but also added a few variations to it to make it a bit different here.
The melody of this tune makes me think of big rocks/boulders in the water off the coast of Ireland, like in Roan Inish where the Selkies would be. I envision a large gray round rock with barnacles and light algae and it's damp from the sea. The sky is dark gray and looks gloomy like a storm will come very soon. I used some Gaelic dictionary website to find the words for Chladach (shore) and na creige (of stone) to kind of capture this image, but I am not sure if that's the best way to say that in Gaelic. They'd maybe just say "roc".
