That Audi is a beast. He didn't need to strip down the inside as he beat both cars by enough he could have added 100lbs of sandbags with full interior and still would have won easily.
This is yet another video demonstrating the stark difference in performance between a proper tune (like LAP3) and the JB4 garbage on the G70/Stinger. The LAP3 Stinger you had on a previous video 4 days ago would have made for a much better matchup in this group.
@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq Have you seen the video I referenced? Allegedly the Stinger in it is pumping out 565HP at the motor, and it certainly moves. The Audi may still win, but it would be a HELL of a lot closer.
Agreed. I can vouch for this as when I was running the JB4 on my stinger with E35 on the dyno I put down 430 on my best run and 423 on my worst. Now I didn't have CPI/Meth at the time but it would have only added about another 15-20 HP. With CPI and the lap 3 2.5 tune I put down 516hp and 640 tq. Night and day difference. Not saying he would have beat the RS3 outright but it would have been neck and neck at the very least.
A Unitronic Stage 2 RS3 on 93 octane is rated at 554 BHP - 527 TQ, on 91 octane it is rated at 510 BHP - 490 TQ. The 450 BHP mentioned in the video is way off.
Hi Sam, Love the video but I noticed lately that some of the matchups haven't been remotely close. I think most viewers new the outcome of this video without even watching it. I'm sure it is a huge logistical challenge but perhaps it would be fun to have an additional run where you handicap cars that outclass the others. In this video specifically I would have had the golf r and genesis start on a 30kph roll and try to be the rs3 from a dig. Close races are fun to watch and everyone wants to root for the underdog. Keep up the good work!
People want to know how bad their cars will smoke the competetion and or lesser cars. These videos give a good perspective. They dont need to be close or that competetive. these are cars that people are tuning and we want to see how they perform side by side.
I only recently found your channel and love it! I have a requst/idea for ya: Show a screen with specs of all cars side by side so we can visually compare those specs. Aha! You are doing it with this video but not always.
@@yousef.al-assaf yeah but when someone says oh I’m FBO they’re talking about intakes downpipe/headers and other mods. Like I’m FBO q50 tuned by Racebox. If he said it that way would make more sense. But yeah he doesn’t know shit about mods lol guy uses a piggyback tune on his BMW and says “he’s tuned” 😂😂
Well I doubt its that high in power to wheels. Dropping 0-60 by half a sec generally takes about 50 hp/50 tq. If it had something similar to 440 whp it would have pushed closer to 3 sec flat to 60 mph.
Okay first. The rs3 fbo on stage 2 makes over 500whp 😂 I know because I’m getting one after selling my b58. They’re nasty but he lied about numbers plus he weight reducted. Secondly that Hyundai really disappoints every time. Imagine not being able to beat a 4 banger with minor b/o that’s a little sad. Seems like the golf r was the only honest one
The Genesis doesn't have much done to it either. The JB4 is just a piggyback tune (and it still beat the Golf up top). The Gen needs an ECU tune for that TCU. With that said, calling the Golf a 'little 4 banger' completely ignores the numbers its putting out (regardless of cyls)
@@artemiscool67plus you can blow up the g70 motor by aggressively tuning it it’s not met to be tuned aggressively like Honda’s and Volkswagen it’s a Hyundai
@@Yondaily you can blow up any motor tuning it aggressively. And the Stinger has already proven you can throw a lot at the 3.3t (even on this channel). I'm not even sure why you mentioned Honda
A stock RS3 already has a hug power advantage over the Golf R and G70. This would have made more sense if you had a tuned Golf R and tuned G70 vs a stock RS3. The car with the most HP to begin with is the only one thats stage 2 AND it has a stripped down interior, smh.
Hey Sam, I'm just wondering would there be a way I can register to be featured onto your video? I would love to take my Stage 2 Tuned Elantra N DCT against these cars. Love the videos, I live right next to Canada Border.
ain't no way a 3.5secs to 60 can lead to an 11secs quarter with just 450hp. rs3 is doing 600hp+ to the crank. even a nissan gtr nismo can't cover that much ground that quickly.
Stock RS3 is around 3.8 sec 0-60 and 3.5 sec with only 50hp would make sense. mph so this car with its power and mad launch probably did 2.6 to 2.8 sec to 60mph. Same for Golf R, close to 4.1 sec 0-60 stock, 3.8 with its mods dont add up
Golf R should have been a bit faster possibly but it didnt say what stage tune it was, I assume Stage 1 only so 3.7 is what I would have guessed. I had a MK7 R a couple of years back Stage 1.5 with a few added bits and it was rated around 3.8
Use the same G70 from last video. This g70 seems basically stock with that time. It would have beaten the Golf R. Still demolished by that gorgeous RS3
I'm the owner of the blue g70 that was on the channel with eh c43 and mustang. It would have been closer for sure, the rs3 would still likely win, but I'm on wmi now. With a tune and weight reduction on my car I would definitely give the rs3 a good run. Especially if he wasn't gutted interior. Without a tune and just jb4 I'd be low 11s so would still lose but with a tune would be high 10s with good DA.
@@Pratagraph so just like most guys on certain videos we fast forward to the good parts lol 😆. So what was done on yours? I'm around 11.8 in my stinger with just tork ecu/tcu on 93
How was it basically stock you genesis fans talk too much go watch carwow what a tuned Golf R did to a tuned RS3, tuned A45S and a tuned M240i don’t underestimate a 4 cylinder. Golf R have better tuning options and they guy who owns it didn’t spend too much money
@joshuapounds7646 you ok bud lol. Why do you sound angry, no one is calling you out or the Golf. Golf R is nice, especially the aftermarket for it. Where us stingers and genesis have maybe 5 max tunes/ tuners we can choose from. We're happy with what we got lol. As are you with your Golf. We're car guys let's have some wrenching fun instead
@@curtislaketek2952 I have the tork stage 1 TCU, Xclusive ecu, and jb4 for ewg, wmi and boost control. BMS Intercooler, VT snorkels, AEM intakes and a custom cat back exhaust. (Still have both cats). I was running 11.4 on pump 93/94 in good weather. Now I've add wmi and with e30 I'm hoping to be very low 11s or maybe very high 10s in good weather. If I get a ecu remap I should be able to be very low 11s in any weather. And high 10s with good da.
2 very different cars. If I had the choice of picking one car only, it would definitely be the 392. A spirited RWD V8 any day over a dull AWD 6-cylinder platform.
@@yousef.al-assaf yes 2 very different cars indeed. I don’t plan on getting rid of my RWD V8. I just plan on adding to my fleet. The RWD V8 is and will be a classic, I’m not getting rid of her.
@@yousef.al-assaf rs3 has sharper handling and steering feel and more grip which is a different kind of fun from letting the back end rip. Whatever floats your boat. Having both is best of course. it's also a 5 cylinder which imo sounds as good as an 8. Very unique wail.
The brake horsepower and the wheel horsepower numbers for these cars are very inconsistent... Way off.. For my Infiniti Q50 I know that there is about a 15% drivetrain loss to the rear wheels. What are the percentages for the all-wheel drive Audi and RS3 and Genesis? Over the last few years I have been amazed at how many people do not get dyno tuned after spending tons of money on their cars
if genesis/hyundai had longitudinally mounted engine, i would choose that xare, despite the fact here looks waay slower than competition. A car should have rear bias transmission and longotudinally engine. Anything else is an aberration with front bias transmission for old widows, no matter if had 200bhp or 1200bhp
Not that I totally agree with your opinion, but I guess you're choosing that Genesis. The G70 (and I believe every other Genesis, but not Hyundai) is RWD-based and its engine is longitudinally oriented.
@@moochiezpitt my ticking time bomb 🤣. Hellcat motors last I checked were iron blocks capable of 1700 hp forged internals and the trans is stout to. I’ve had mine since 2016 btw still do and it runs like a champ. I used it for a daily for 4 years in Florida heat still ticks like a pace maker. And no it can’t. Gonna need at least a big turbo on that rs3 to even think about competing.
@@vroomgc Yeah it’s rear wheel drive any car making any sort of power that’s not awd will spin typically unless you put a fat slick on the back. you can modulate power with your foot and tune on the fly or use vht prior to the race for digs. And actually you can cam and gear them to work at different speeds. Many ways around it. Like people haven’t been street racing and tuning 2wd cars for years.
I have owned 2 Hyundai a 20 Palisade limited and 22 Santa Cruz limited my results!? You never know what your going get when you punch it computer may decide your a grandpa today and a yout tomorrow 😅
honestly this RS3 would have been a good race for his Q60. I think Gobins best 1/4 time was 10.9 on e30. He has an M340i now which he should bring out instead!
