Yes. This is an insert for roughing, you would come back with a finishing tool to get everything on dimension

Can a high diameter cast iron piece be turned at high RPM? Say 980mm diameter cast iron roll?

焼き入れ品をこの速さで加工は凄いですね。ただ、刃先形状から角にテーパーが付くのでは？盗みや貫通できる加工しか無理っぽいですね。前加工して焼き入れして最終にこの加工は怖くてできんな…ビビりそうやし
