I didn't have enough money for berry's and I had to fight him with just my shield and sword and you made it look SOOOOO much easier with a shotgun it took me about 20 attempts to beat him.
Yep. You made using the shotgun on the Scavenger boss look easy. I tried and didn't like it, because of how little you get for the magic bullets. I resorted to spamming dynamite on him, and surprisingly it worked. I still died, but for some reason I managed to stay alive long enough as he made his last attack before his last attack killed me as he died. It was the attack that had that aura travel towards you through the ground. I thought I had to do him again, but I go back and he was gone. The Rooted Ziggurat literally had the most hardest and creative fights next to the most dangerous areas afterwards.
I only realized what the tiles were now....playing this on Switch and got the mask like the video said and I'm like ughhh why isn't it equiped? I've had two open tiles up until this point of the game! LOL
My sword does absolutely nothing to him, he doesn’t light up red like yours does fighting him. I am stuck on this level and can’t go back to buy bombs. I will have to give up on this game. So sad 😢
ITS absurd ,i am at the scavenger Boss and want to use the Shotgun but If you use the blue Apples and dont kill the Boss the Apples are gone for the next try...so the Game ends for me here.Its a very Bad Game Design in this case
When I did my first I playthrough, I had a helluva time with this boss, had to try numerous times, then, when I almost had him beat, I was one hit from death, and then when he came towards me to finish my sorry ass, he somehow glitched and fell off the battle area and it killed the SOB. If it weren't for that, I know he would have killed my ass. I was so excited I thought I was lactating. But yeah, I HATED this boss. I'd rather stick my nipples in a manual pencil sharpener than to have to try beating him again - but I'm gonna have to cuz I accidentally deleted my save after having 100%ed the game - which is what brought me to this video in the first place.
@voidska7274 I think you shoot him from across the bridge before getting on by using the lock on and it will trigger the boss fight but he will be stuck on the other side. I think when I played he jumped over to me near the end and I just slashed him to death.
