Nice whip bro….just scooped up a 24 M340i and trying to find a better steering wheel. The OEM wheel is plain af compared to the rest of the car. Was your custom made in the US? I’m getting started on mods soon so I’m definitely checking out the channel for ideas.

Nice!!! I am awaiting my ECU back from Finland. I have 2021. Any DME after 06/2020 needs to ship the ECU. Mines took forever sitting at customs during the holidays.

What I don't understand is that you have to buy a Bootmod3 license before you send the ECU to Femto? Does this mean that Femto itself will flash the BM3 OTS map on the ECU? Is it possible to reflash myself afterwards to a different OTS map and make some changes?

Yes, you buy the license beforehand because they calibrate for that particular software. You have to choose between regular unlock (i.e flash tunes), customrom or standard (ots). From what I understand, if you have purchased customRom, you are able to switch platforms, but I would cross reference prior to sending out your DME. Hopefully, i helped out alittle
