I’m having an issue with my Z where I get no interior power, I swapped the ignition relay and hi/lo beam relay and nothing changed. I have the other ipdm box it’s just not installed.
I see people in the comments are having the same/similar issues with the no power to the ecm which is what i had. Today i ran a jumper wire from the battery to the ecm fuse and of course it powered on, fans went off, pump actually primed, BUT still not getting any fuel from the injectors so all things are normal but when you crank it the car still wont fire. Sprayed carb cleaner and got it to fire for .5 seconds. Is there anything im missing on why i cant get the injectors to fire and actually get the car to run on its own?
@@em2attic DAMN, im about to change ipdm on mine. i just bought one for a project carr for my son, and the guy i bought it from couldnt start it. ill keep ya posted if i have any luck
I had an 04 automatic 350z that would crank no start but also fans kicked on and no fuel pump prime..guy I got it from had it 8 months trying to start car with starter fluid and never got it to run on its own...the 10 Amp ENG SOL fuse was blown...after I replaced the fuse and turn the key on...no fans came on fuel pump done its thing and she fired right up...I'd change a fuse before replacing the ipdm
I know you probably moved on, but trying to take your advice at the end of your video, I am not giving up. I am having the same issue with my 350z, the ECU is not turning on. I Bought a fuse buddy. Did you remove the relay ECU relay? And if true how did you determine which of the 4 pins of the relay to plug the fuse lead in. Do I a new some king of ground? I may be missing something.
Its pretty straight forward with a simple multimeter and understanding of how a relay works. I have a couple z's in the shop now so DM me on insta @willtunefortacos and I'll try and send you some pictures of the fuse box.
I have the jumper wire from fuse to relay and write to fuel pump to make it work but vehicles still won't start and now immobilize your light on what can I do to bypass it to get my car home please in service just got home need to get home
They come from our electrical shop supply supplier so i don't have a part number or link but i think most parts stores sell them. "Fuse buddy" or "add a fuse"
