On day 2 of our Tunisian road trip, we got a taste for Tunisian village life and then checked out some of the best roman ruins known to man. Not a bad day!

I just LOOOOOVE that you guys are going for it full throttle, like trying to get a view and feel of every nook and cranny!!! Little places that are out there are my favorite places to discover. There are so many hidden gems, especially in the northwest

Theres this trend on RU-vid for Roman ruins in Tunisia where people think the Carthaginians built this stuff. Like bro, it was a Numidian Berber town with Punic influence that got bulldozed and rebuilt by the Romans like every other city in the Western half of the empire. Lol the arena bit

Thank you! So true! It’s much worse on TikTok. They’re maniacally obsessed with Carthage. I’ve seen people claim that El Jem is bigger than the Coliseum. Alternative facts 😂 Like… UNESCO is wrong and dude from Tik Tok has the correct info, that no one else can see.
