San juan del sur is basically like costa rica but in american dollars lol The waves must be worth it. I wouldnt go anywhere near there, I'm trying to leave north america not find a american town in central america lol
Theres this trend on RU-vid for Roman ruins in Tunisia where people think the Carthaginians built this stuff. Like bro, it was a Numidian Berber town with Punic influence that got bulldozed and rebuilt by the Romans like every other city in the Western half of the empire. Lol the arena bit
Thank you! So true! It’s much worse on TikTok. They’re maniacally obsessed with Carthage. I’ve seen people claim that El Jem is bigger than the Coliseum. Alternative facts 😂 Like… UNESCO is wrong and dude from Tik Tok has the correct info, that no one else can see.
something about this part of the world...morocco also had endless hassling and annoying sales people everywhere i went for 3 weeks there...these people need to change their culture asap or no one will visit
LOL, you have to remember these people have been selling carpets (and other goods) for thousands of years. They're experts, totally friendly and absolutely persistent. Vendors also love Westerners because they know we feel rude or guilty for saying no, whereas they have plenty of time and all they need is for us to say yes once. Best strategy for Egypt is to learn to say no effectively. Watch how the Egyptians say no to a persistent seller. They apply some melodrama which is fast & effective because everyone cares about their reputation. It's amazing how quickly a seller will back off if they think you're on the edge of a meltdown because they're horrified by the possibility of losing face. When I started "acting" the way Egyptians do my stress went way down and my interactions were much smoother.
Hey! Thanks for watching and taking the time to write this. While I understand what you're saying, I don't particularly think their system is effective. I am much more likely to buy from a shop in which I'm not hassled and has prices displayed. In the long run, less and less tourists are going to visit due to their "selling techniques". A culture that forces me to act rude is not one I want to partake in. I'm glad I went but I will most likely never go back.
What didn’t you like about it? As I remember there’s lots of meat. I had some pretty good meals there though. Not everywhere of course. Thanks for watching!
@@GringoNation the Quality was low. I found it to be low effort. Often cold,I would say people didn't take Pride in the food and made it without heart.
You may not find all the world's luxury there but I promise you you will find a peace of nature that no other country can offer. So if you are apt to take a special adventure and have distinct ideas about life let Georgia be your destination. You won't regret it, I guarantee you.

Sure is! That beach would have been perfect if not for that. This was supposed to be tour through many beaches but the unexpected circumstances only led us to this one. 😂
Hey John! Thailand is beautiful indeed, although Phuket is my least favorite region. I have also been to the Philippines many times and will be returning this year. Very excited as usual. Thanks for watching! :-)
Hey Elly! I'll be posting a few more videos on Thailand but none of them are food-centric. But if you go through my previous videos, you'll definitely find some food in there. :-))
beaches and vacation beachlife are fun 2-3 days then it gets pretty boring in my opinion =) Phuket is pretty expensive if u compare it to normal Thailand or even downtown Bangkok fun fact: The Thai King/ royal house OWNS all beaches in Thailand and u have to get a royalhouse permit for building on them.
Hey Natt! Thanks for watching and adding your 2 cents. I love going to the beach but I also don't like spending too much time there. Phuket is probably my least favorite place in Thailand so far. I would take Bangkok over Phuket any day!
@@GringoNation true most Thai ppl i know in go down for weekend vacation to Bang Saen Beach in Chonburi near Pattaya if they want some beachtime and seafood.. just 1.5 hours outside bangkok with bus or car.. or quiet cheap beautiful Sattahip or Rayong if they want a longer vacation trip.. Sattahip or Rayong that is my go to for some beachtime and cheap hotel and good food
Hey, thanks for watching! I teach ESL classes to Asian students. Wi-Fi in Georgia was reliable in the major cities. Although sometimes there were power outages. I actually taught in this tiny town that you see in the video, but that was on 4G. Hope that helps. Cheers!
Yeah, you may want to respect the cultural and religious beliefs of their country. Not every man, woman, and child on planet Earth dreams of living in a "multicultural and rainbow" utopia. Ciao...
@@williams.carpenter2362 I did respect it. Doesn’t mean it made me comfortable so when I make a video about things I didn’t like about MY trip on MY channel, that was on there. Ciao
Hi Art, didnt know it was your birthday!! Happy delayed birthday to you, wish you all the best and thanks again for sharing your amazing experience 🎉🎊✨
Complainers. Sorry to say , typical Americans. In the summer , Tunisians love to be outdoors, moreso on the weekends, frequenting restaurants, cafes, ice cream stores, etc. Also this time of the year, in the summer school holidays, hundreds of Tunisian diaspora from across Europe, come over by ferry with their cars. It's very, very busy in the summer.
Many people are shocked how cheaply and comfortably you can live here in Thailand on small amounts Now add a healthcare and dentalcare that is ranked no. 5 in the world (usa is ranked 15 )and is extremely cheap, so cheap that you don't even have to take out the insurance for doctor's visits or simpler things, just pay cash.(insurance is cheap to compared to the us ) I have friends who actually SURVIVE very good on $500 and friends who burn +$10,000 a month in luxury and partying here in Bangkok so it's all up to you and what suits you. As usual, it will of course be cheaper the longer you live here and how much you adapt with language, food, culture and similar things - don't try to live like a westerner in se-asia..adapt
Yah, I actually don't have insurance atm, but am still visiting the doctor, dentist etc. You're absolutely right: depending on your lifestyle, you can spend very little or very much too. Having the option is what's most important! Thanks for watching! :-))
@@GringoNation did my yearly full check up at a local clinic 3 months ago..total cost with 3 pages full of different lab tests from blood and urine : 4500 baht thats 122 $ no wait time no appointment and papers delivered by scooter messenger to my door =) ilk think that MINIMUM would be a cheap accident insurance living here in se-asia ..roaming around without anything is well not smart .
There's a reason they call vacationers to Thailand "two week millionaires"! It is astounding how far a few dollars will go. You can get a huge hotel room with all the amenities for $50 a night, all the food you could want for $7-$10 a day.
if u go for a hotel just a bit from the absolute tourist areas u get a super good room for 20$ night or even less. If a pool gym and breakfast and being right smack in the tourist areas isn't a thing that u use. Remember that 2-3 stars here in Thailand is like 4 stars in the west. Seen even simple roadside motels and 1 star guesthouses that cost 10$ a night being cleaner and nicer than many hotels in west when i been driving around in Thailand
