This section is the oldest part of the line, and has some of the tightest curves. Soon it is planned to close for some improvements. The Eltham South Electric Tramway is a 1:24 scale, 45mm gauge tramway in Melbourne, Australia.
Your railway line is beautiful, Trams and electric trains seem real, there is also the overhead power line. Watching this video I imagine myself as one of those little passengers who are seen sitting in the carriages while taking a journey among huge and mysterious plants. Lots of compliments !!! It is always a pleasure to see your movies. Hello !!! LIKE 13
So verdant there in Melbourne. Perhaps the viewers could be witness to some of your re-construction in progress ? The concept is, for me, much better than most outdoor railways. The sounds of the birds brings back so many memories.
Great news Alexander! It's always a pleasure to watch trains on the Tramway and the large scale , with its details, makes it seem magical to a degree. Ironing out some of the curves will be a huge improvement, not that it needs any, but having good track work does make for a better running railway! Looking forward to the work and can you please do some videos during the construction? Cheers Gregg.
I absolutely love your railway I moved from Australia when I was 5 with my mom and have always wanted to go back could you maybe do a tour video of the little side switches spurs history of parts ect maybe?
Always love watching your clips especially the one with your slasher which I thought was hilarious. I also live in Eltham and have spent the recent lockdowns & trying to figure out where you are located. I think I have an idea & would love to visit when the lockdowns are finished. BTW I live north of shops just around the corner from Joan the Iso Chook lady.
Yes as you can see this isn't a very realistic train at the moment! An E would be good and I have definitely thought about it, maybe next project. A swing door motor car is currently in the design stage.
After this part of the line gets replaced, are there plans to extend it past grasslands? In some previous videos I thought I saw track being built further and a possible wye being put in near the yard.
Who wants nicer? Who wants smoother? Build a new Line for the longer Wagons. What would new Tracks cost? I have no Idea, but destroying this Line might take away the UNESCO Cultural World Wonder Label.
