Tor Arne Rygh sledbuild and he cut off his tunnel.
"I’ve got many questions from a lot of people about my little project.
How to do? And WHY? WHY? WHY cut a brand new sled in half? 🙈
Here’s one of the answers I sent to an american guy with a itch in his brain🤨
"Here in norway and sweden we don’t have powder all winter long. Mostly it’s a bit compact or hardpacked. When it’s steep enough and I for example have to turn around and go the other way and I can’t turn down, I may have to spin it more than 180° turning upwards. When its not powder the tunnel becomes a brake in the snow. And I think this will make it easier to turn around in more compact snow in tight places without the need to build up speed. But this is just examples. I think that I could use this to my advantage every day I’m out riding :) "
