Welcome to the BuildWitt Roadshow-our 34-day journey to visit 43 Dirt World contractors across 27 US states. Oh yeah... And we did it while living in an RV.
On DAY 1, we visited a tunneling job with Stack Inc., then saw CW Matthews paving in Atlanta, Georgia. We also had a surprise visit from the Atlanta mayor. Huh?

That’s a Roadtec 190 paver. I spent most of my time running a 190 and on smaller roads the 180 and lived those pavers. Easy to work on/service and very reliable machines. I miss doing asphalt.

Great vid and im excited too see the rest of the road show. I think Aaron you should show more QC stuff on jobs like concrete testing, compaction testing on asphalt and soil and aggregates

out of all of the companies i've seen aaron visit and document. Plateau Excavation in atlanta ga is by far the best at moving dirt by a mile

"dellkalb avenue" ... and everyone in Atlanta cringes. (It's "Dee-Cab" to locals) As for why repaving Dekalb Ave is such a big deal, for years (if not decades) this road has been neglected until it was basically just one big pothole. The Mayor won his election at least partly by promising to pave this road.
